1. Damontre Moore DE/OLB Texas A&M

2. Larry Warford OG Kentucky

3. DJ Swearinger FS South Carolina

4. EJ Manuel QB Florida State

4. Joesph Randle RB Oklahoma

5. Tryann Mathieu CB LSU

6. Michael Willams TE Alabama

7. Daniel McCullers NT Tennessee

I wish that Moore would fall to 9 but i wouldn't trade up to get him. I would like to trade down since there seems to be a lot of 2nd and 3rd round quality in this draft.

Also i don't think Detroit gives us a discount, the 5 is worth 1700, our 1,3.6 are only 1600; conversely our 2 is worth 510, Cinn 2 and 4 are only 420

I was going to say i doubt anyone gives us a 3 for Wilson or a 6 for Tebow but there are a lot of poorly run teams so maybe someone will overpay. Truthfully i was thinking Tebow for a sixth would be a good fit in Buffalo.

Randle is not falling to the 4th round. Why do people keep mocking him there?

I really liking Manuel more and more but now that everyone else is liking him too people have been saying his draft stock is going to rise. I've been thinking in the 4th he'd be great but now if he's an early third or maybe even as high is early 2nd he might have just played his way out of our reach.

Damn.

I don't know if we can swing a 2nd round pick for him. Just might not be worth it for us as we have so many other holes. If he's the next Kapernick or Wilson then great but if he's the next Tavaris Jackson then we just set ourselves back even further.

We need to trade back and pickup and extra 3rd and take him with that pick (I hope). He could be special and I think I'd take the chance on him in the early third if he was there.

Trade back in the first pick up and early 3rd.
1st - Jordan/Ansah
2nd - Manual (if his stock really does rise that high)
3rd - RB (Joesph Randle) or WR (Da'Rick Rodgers)
3rd - OG/RT (take the best player since I think Howard could slide inside)
4th - FS
5th - BPA
and so on

We need to trade back at least once even if it's not in the first. We need to pickup and extra 3rd or 4th somewhere. I actually hope we can trade Harris for a 3rd.

Prob one of the worst drafts I could imagine. Trading down to 20 for a 4-3 re... He isnt an olb in the slightest... sorry man, this just isnt good (IMO)

I do like your Antwan Barnes signing tho, I have that signing in my mock also

Im really enamored with barnes but how do you not see Okafor as a 34OLB he has the size you want at the position, has the speed, has experience working in space as Texas used him a lot as a stand up DE/LB, hes athletic and is a solid run defender

Well 1st, how the jets trade down from 9 to 20 and not pick up another 2nd round pick baffles me.

Id rather Corey lumonier than okefor but he can be gotten in the mid 20's

Actually the trade downs are off according to the trade value chart. Nine to thirteen might give you a third but not a fifth. From thirteen to twenty should give you a third, fourth, fifth and a sixth or seventh..

As to the draft i don't like Okafor in the first. I think he is better suited for 4-3 DE but even there he might have trouble. From what i saw in the senior bowl practices he looked average, not enough speed to play OLB and not big (strong) enough for a 3-4 DE. I don't think i would draft him at all.

I like most of the other picks although i question picking Lemon and Dial in the fifth and sixth. IMO both are being picked too high. Conversely Woods probably won't last until the seventh.

Rams don't have the cap space to trade for a franchised TE. So that wouldn't likely happen. Plus they have a pretty solid TE.

Change Louis Vasquez to Kory Lichtensteiger.

I think we can probably get Randle in the third. I would take him with the pick you used on Davis and take a WR in the second round. If you want to take a RB early in the second, Jawan Jamison would be a better choice.

I threw Randle at 2nd because some people feel that he won't make it to the 3rd. I think he will be a 2nd-3rd. I keep forgetting about Jamison, I have to check him out.

He reminds me of a certain former Rutgers RB.

lol I understand,

The reason why I dropped is because he was only 25yrs old when we traded for him. Now he is closer to 30. Still a a great player, and I wish there was a way we could keep him and Revis.

I agree, his value shouldntve gone down... He had his best season in 2012(IMO)... In terms of coverage not ints (he had that 1 year in San Diego where he had like 8 inys and like 3 tds)
