What could this mean i wonder? did he and the Patriots hit a snag on contraction negotiations? Rosenhaus didn't have much problem with his other clients and the Pats recently. |
Strange decision. Rosenhaus is a good guy to have on your side when you're looking for a payday. _________________

I don't know if this would have anything to do with it, but for Spikes to get his big payday, somebody is going to have to convince the Pats that he actually fits in other teams' defenses. _________________ Shut up, NBT |

Kansas city, looking for a guy to pair with Derrick Johnson? | Right now, Romeo's scheme is the best fit in the NFL for Spikes. I'm guessing that won't be the case once somebody else is running the defense next year, though. _________________ Shut up, NBT |

Spikes fits in any 3-4 scheme and has proved this year that he can play MIKE in a 4-3 at a high level.
If he hits UFA, he will have a lot of suitors. |

Means nothing in terms of long term stance here. Agents come and go.

| Gah, imagine if it was someone just a bit better than Ninkovich. Someone to get excited about. Then it would be perfect. |
