Ok gentlemen, I do not normally do these, but I am tired of these crappy losses. It is Eagles week, so I am on the forefront of this crap for the week so I am going to take a stand.

**I expect the rest of you to follow suit. That means no boy band meetings this week Slam, and no hanging out in your preferred forums Matts...this week is war.
Dallas Cowboys 3-5 (3rd) 1-1 in the Division
Team Stats:
Offense
382.5 yards per game (6th) 18.8 points per game (26th)
Defense
312.5 yards per game (5th) 22.6 points per game (17th)
Takeaways, -11 worst in the NFC and only the Chiefs have a worse mark at -20
At
Philadelphia Eagles 3-5 (2nd) 1-0 in the Division
Team Stats:
Offense
373.9 yards per game (10th) 16.6 points per game (29th)
Defense
343.5 yards per game (16th) 22.9 points per game (18th)
Takeaways, -9, the only team worse in the NFC...the Dallas Cowboys
Location: Philadelphia, Lincoln Financial Field
Time: 4:15 PM EST, 3:15 PM CST
What's at Stake: Sole possession of second place in the Division and possible the season. Neither team is exactly playing up to expectations (depending on what you actually expected from them) and both are on the brink of disaster. The Cowboys have been in some close games, but have come out losers in them. The same can be said of the Eagles who can't seem to hit their stride offensively or defensively.
Both teams are similar even on the stat sheet. Both move the ball well, but neither score. Both are led by couches with serious faults. It appears at times that both Garrett and Reid have no understanding of a clock and time management or play calling in certain situations. I expect nothing to change this week in the battle for which broken clock can finally be right.

Keys to the Game:
Matchups to Watch:
Romo vs. Cole/Babin - Let's face it, these two are licking their chops right about now with our stellar OL play
Austin/Dez vs. DRC/Scrabble - I like our WRs in this battle, their CBs have looked very beatable this year. I expect that to keep up.
Witten vs. Whoever they have at LB/S - I expect a big day from Witten as usual, I mean who is going to cover him?
Garrett vs. Reid aka RedBall vs. Fatty McFatFat - Who will be the smarter of two morons? Neither understands the basic functions of time and neither know how to gameplan for 60 minutes. Let the checkers game begin
Ware/Spencer vs. Eagles "OL" - If any OL is worse in the NFL than ours, it is the Eagles. I expect a big day from our DL and Ware/Spencer. Most Eagles fans feel the same way...

Whatever the single game sack record is, Ware is about to break it. |
Maclin/Jackson vs. Carr/MoClay - This is a matchup I am very interested in. So far we have handled bigger WRs pretty well, these two are of the pigme variety. Small and quick. We need to jam them at the line and be very physical. Maclin seems to stay engaged in the game whereas Jackson usually is willing to quit after about 1-3 plays.
Vick vs. Vick - Let's hope Vick just keeps doing his thing. Holding onto the ball, making wrong reads and standing in the pocket without checking his blind side. If so I fully expect our D to put a hurting on him. Also I expect to see us use Carter in a bit of a spy roll to try to contain Vick when he looks to escape.
Over/Under:
Tony Romo 290 pass yards: over/under
Jason Witten 6 catches: over/under
Dez Bryant 85 yards: over/under
DeMarcus Ware 2 sacks: over/under
Team Def Total 5 sacks: over/under
Take aways +1: over/under
LeSean McCoy 120 total yards: over/under
Mike Vick 320 total yards: over/under
Maclin/Jackson 145 receiving yards: over/under _________________ Bring swag back to Dallas 2012.

Not for the team record, I mean the single player sack record in a game. Ware is going to top that in one of our two games, most likely the one this Sunday. |

A62, I just saw the poll now. That's like asking a father which one of his kids he would save if they were all drowning. When asked those life dilemma questions, I usually refuse to participate. Its an unfair, loaded question. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

Exactly. I am trying to provoke thought with this thread, not just picture posting and Eagle bashing. I was well thought out decisions to be made. _________________ Bring swag back to Dallas 2012.

Good luck trying to do that with Slam and Matts on board.
And thanks for the running diary of my recent posts acowboys62. Let's just say I'm happy we have the Lakers. _________________

Hopefully that Pistons win starts something, because the NFL is clearly not gonna work for either of us this year. _________________ Bring swag back to Dallas 2012.

Why you guys #weaksauce?
Open up MH's GDT thread.. we suffered Kesha... Hell, it cant be any worse luck than what you already have. In fact, it may get you what you all wish - the firing of Vick and Reid. _________________

I agree with Matts. We manned up and gangrushed Kesha. the least they can do is leave the "pre- GDT" open. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...
