Juan did stress tackling.
That's one of the things he said every time he was interviewed until it got better.
That's why #Juandamentals was born. He kept stressing fundamentals.
And he had the #1 defense in the NFL for 3 quarters.

+1 stop being so gimmicky inside the twenty. Shovel pass out of split backs? I'm pretty dayum sure that's the only play in the playbook that's in that formation. Same ish since '08!

I've looked at that pass to Maclin 6x I swear he miss times his jump. He barely gets off the ground. Look how awkward he jumps.

I'll admit I saw the coaches implementing some new wrinkles between the 20s but AR/MM has been executing that for yrs it's down inside the 20s that separates great coaches from avg coaches.

Entire defense has gone south. It really wasn't quite this bad with Juan around. Pash rush has been awful all year long and it's really hurting us.

Don't give the D that much credit the saints were in the RZ on the TO. also they should have been fresh and ready to tackle considering the only were on the field for 54 plays.
They listed sims @ 5'9 we traded for a small Backup S but won't pull the trigger on an OL?

When your gashing a team for over a 100 yrd in basically a QT there is no excuse whatsoever not to run the ball 3 straight times from the 4 YD line instead of calling two pass plays instead. None! It's that thinking that has made this offense suffer in the RZ since the loss of Mcnabb and Westbrook when we actually thrived at it. I rarely remember Shady being held under 2-3 yrd at any point in that game? Run the GD ball. It's not rocket science.

Exactly its not rocket science, and at the very least if your going to pass it get the right personnel in and come up with a better play then that garbage.
Shady was electric and looked primed to carry the team on his back to victory, not to mention Brown was looking mean as hell. They have to run the ball , they had to. Only Andy Reid has the mind set "wow this gun is killing this army,, let me it away and experiment with another less effective but more intriguing to my taste gun" ...
Its to much.
Shady is special, like you said its not rocket scientist, feed the most special player you got, and commit to what is working, which happen to be one in the same RUN THE DAMN BALL!!
