I think he's referring to this
Wasn't really a dive, if I remember correctly. He got pushed down by Monroe as he was turning the corner and allowed himself to propel into Gabbert's knee area. Not really malicious, but should have been (but wasn't) a penalty.
Of course that's going off of memory, I may be wrong. _________________

He can now grub out on some Zaxbys while he has some free time. It's a proven fact that a Chicken Finger Plate will speed up the recovery process. _________________

Considering the fact he has had this injury twice before(and missed only one game), and he said this isn't as bad as the other times...I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't miss a game. _________________ @PJHotel_ |

This just isn't fair. How do we always have so many injuries?? This is getting out of control.
Our...
Starting MLB Bishop out for the year, his back up is also out for the year.
Starting HB Benson is on IR
Starting OLB(both of them) Matthews and Perry are out for awhile
Starting WR(both of them) Jennings and Nelson are out
Starting RT Bulaga just got injured, looks to be out for some time
Starting CB Sam Shields is out for who knows how long
Starting S/CB Charles Woodson has a broken collar bone
Then we have a slew of depth injuries:
Quarless
Kuhn
Worthy
Etc...
That's 11 players out right now that would be starting. How is that even possible? I really do not understand how we can go through this year after year when other teams might not lose a starter to IR all year. Its getting to a point where its no longer fun to watch. |

Chin up, buddy. Didn't you win the Super Bowl with 17 players on IR? _________________

Yes - but a lot of those players were either depth players, role players, or rookies. _________________ @PJHotel_ |

I'm not even talking about winning or losing really, it just sucks. I want to watch our real team play at full strength. I didn't go into the season dreaming about friggin Driver and #6 WR Boykin getting all the snaps, I want to see Jennings and Nelson.
It's depressing that you can't watch your team go head to head with the best, Packer fans have to hope our backups can keep us in the game. Its sub par football.
How would a Bears fan feel if he didn't get to see Urlacher, Marshall, Briggs, Tillman, etc, play? Because that's what we have. Not back ups or special teamers, we have 6 or 7 of our very best on the bench. That sucks. |

(for those not in the know that's a little jab at the fact that #54 was invisible most of the year, still the QB of the defense, but definitely missing something)
Umm, we lost our starting QB, RB, WR, LG to IR last year, not to mention all the guys who played thru injury. Hell our former #1 WR, now #5 may never play another down of football. _________________

Losing Cutler and Forte is huge......but lets see your team operate(AND WIN) without your top two targets at WR, your starting RB, an above average OL, your rookie pass rusher, your best LB, and half of your starting secondary(Lets say Tillman and Wright, most comparable players to what we lost).
So that is minus:
Brandon Marshall
Earl Bennett
Matt Forte
Roberto Garza
Shea McClellin
Lance Briggs
Charles Tillman
Major Wright
for an extended period of time.
Raji also missed a few games, and it looks like there is possibility Clay might as well(Soooo, take away Melton and Peppers for a few games as well).
What would the Bears be like? ' _________________ @PJHotel_ |
