| I am blown away by how well Greg Hardy, Charles Johnson and the entire front 4 rotation have played over the last two weeks. I believe they have 11 sacks in the last two games (granted Cutler has quite possibly the worst o-line in the NFL) But they are tied for 6th in the NFL with 24 total sacks. How do you feel about the D-line maintaining this production over the next 8 games? I think its possible, I think Hardy is really becoming a great pass rusher and he and Johnson are both taking pressure off each other. One last thing, while I still feel Carolina overpaid charles he sure can be a beast!!! |

Hardy has more sacks in the last two games than he did all of last year. I hope he keeps it up. He's quickly becoming a favorite of mine. It's also awesome seeing him truck down the field on punt coverage.
The whole line is playing the run much better too now.
The Broncos are giving up practically no sacks so this should be a test. |

The DL has been playing great of late. I'd still be alright with us using our first round pick on a young stud DT, depending on when we pick. (star lotulelei) _________________

Star Loutelei dominated USC, I like him he seems like a solid pick for carolina with their first pick |

Yep. Only concern would be that if we win a few more games, he won't be available. A great second option would be Ohio State DT Johnathan Hankins. He's more centered as a run defender than pass rusher, but he can push the pocket. _________________

If Hardy and CJ continue getting the pressure they're getting now than a run stuffer is just what the D needs. _________________

lol talking about the draft.... Ron and Dwan are fine a youngster would be great. We dont need to spend a high pick on the dline. A big WR is what Cam needs on the offense that should be the first pick. You see the AJ Green and Calvin and what they do for there team. Imagine if Cam had a big WR that could get up and catch is inaccurate balls. Imagine what that would do for his confidence and Cam's confidence is the teams biggest need. |

So you're saying Cams confidence would go up by making someone elses job harder. _________________

I definitely want either DT or WR. It depends on the prospects available though. I haven't heard that there is a top WR prospect like a Julio, Green or Megatron. There seems to be premium DT prospects but it's possible they win their way out of position for that.
A bigger receiver would really help in the redzone. I just don't want him to become like Rivers who became to accustomed to toss ups. |

what would help cams confidence is chud putting him in positions to succeed. why are we not seeing more 2 TE sets in the redzone. u want cam to have big receivers? put olsen and barnidge out there together. one will be open on almost every play. i guarantee it. i hate seeing good offensive players ride the bench because they can't do one thing. in barnidges case its blocking. soooo don't put him out there to block _________________

If he's available in the 2nd round, I wouldn't mind picking up Tyler Efiert from Notre Dame. His play reminds me a lot of Olsen's. The guy is a legit first round talent, so picking him up in the 2nd is a no brainier. _________________

What |
Cam would still be a inaccurate QB(like you said). A big WR would do much better with an accurate QB. Which Cam is not. Thus, making the WRs job harder. You claimed a WR catching balls from a bad QB will improve said bad QBs confidence. When in reality Cam should realize he'd be holding the WR back from being even better. Stafford is a better passer than Cam so Calvin looks better with him than Hill/Orvlosky. Luck/Manning are far superior passers than Painter. In turn making Wayne be able to truly show his full potential. I'm not saying Cam isn't better than Hill/Painter/Orvlosky I'm just pointing out the difference. _________________

I like Eifert, but the TE depth in the 4th/5th round of this draft is really good, so if we're looking at a TE, I'd rather wait until then and pick up someone like Jake Stoneburner, Phillip Lutzenkirchen, Dion Sims, or Michael Williams. _________________

Still dont get your argument... Any WR would do much better with an accurate QB. A Big WR would go up and get Cams ball, he would have a larger area to throw it in. It would help his confidence. |
