Well, the current coach isn't exactly getting results. It's not like the team could get much worse. |
Ya sorry des.....Garrett has brought us a losing record since he took over. He never has his side of the ball prepared. He cant call plays. He never could. I hate him. He can draft--if its even him making the decisions. |

I still think we screw it up though |
For some reason I don't see Cleveland as a cakewalk at all, neither do I see Washington or Philly, or Pittsburgh (who beat the Gmen) so I don't follow you at all. |
they aren't. Cleveland has improved every single week, Redskins are a division rival and are still dangerous even with those injuries, Philly is a division rival also and we have had a tough time against them lately. Steelers are a team that also improves every single week and look like they are on their way to superbowl form. |

Im over the JG experiment. His incompetence is more present in this fame than others. He lacks the backbone to be a head coach. Put the hands in your QB earlier than 7 minutes in the 4th. Pull the plug and name Ryan interim. He just doesnt get it. All brain, no balls. _________________

Because you were not reading what I was saying. Which is nothing new. |
In a nutshell you claimed the pressure was on the Giants because falling to 1-3 in the division was essentially a "death nail" for winning the division. Correct?
My rebuttal was if the Cowboys lost against the Gmen they fall to 3-4 and then have to travel to Atlanta and ending up 3-5. Now I'm seeing "season over" post which ratifies what I stated.
Even if the Giants had lost last week, plus the loss this week. They are 5-4 and still a game up on the Cowboys. I think it's obvious the game last week mattered more to the Cowboys playoff hopes then the Giants. |
Who the he!! Cares!? Yeah, yeah go back to NY you troll! |
Stop. |
Yeah, Shock's a good guy for an ignorant giants fan. He's not trolling. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

Exactly, that's what I'm saying. So how many coaches are we going to change before we start looking elsewhere as the problem?
We all know GM Jerry Jones is the true problem for the Cowboys, but since he's not going nowhere we have to look at the face of the franchise.
But since there's realy no clear cut QB coming out in next year's draft that's elite, we should build on this OL... we should not extend Romo though. _________________

Landry wasn't that great after two years, nor was Jimmy Johnson. If Garrett would give up play-calling duties, I feel like he has the makings of a great coach. Not to mention, I feel he's one of the few coaches out there who has Jerry's respect.
But...whatever. Fire him and let's continue the endless cycle of mediocrity instead of trying to build something. _________________

I probably won't. Not for the long haul, anyway. We know who the real problem is. And even though Garrett has proven that he has no business being a head coach, a coaching change won't do much of anything as long as the real problem continues to undermine and emasculate them. _________________

I don't think Philly or Washington will be easy opponents. Philly still has a lot of talent, but they're as dysfunctional as the Cowboys. Washington will be tough - they always play the Boys tough. That said, I think the Boys split the four games against these two teams.
Cleveland has played hard this year despite their 7 losses. They almost pulled off the upset against Baltimore today. They won't be an easy opponent, but still should still be a Boys win.
Not sure what to think about New Orleans. Brees has found his rhythm, but their defence still sucks.
Pittsburgh, indeed, is the toughest opponent left on the schedule. Playing at Cincinnati in December will also be a tough game, especially if the Boys still don't have a running game. |
have you watched much of these teams?? I get it if you are just going off records, but Philly has been a bottom 4 team in the NFL all season long. They are worse than browns... they are the Jags.
Skins have one of the worst defenses in the NFL. They live and die by the rookie qb.
Both teams are putrid and we should very, VERY easily sweep them.
you are right, we will likely split. Though the schedule is cake walk. |
We should Matts. I would love to believe that. And we should have made that FG in Balt, we should have scored that TD last week against NY and we should have won this game. But this team simply does not know how to do that. Perhaps they are a reflection of their HC and it is a poor one at that. I don't believe I have ever been so frustrated or disappointed by this franchise. Heartbroken? Yes! See 1982 NFC Championship game. But this season is a collection of woulda, coulda, shoulda, NOT! |
