Great special. I wish they would focus more on different stuff other than the "chip on his shoulder" though. One of the things I love most about Rodgers is how normal he seems. He's not a larger than life superstar. He's your everyday guy who just happens to be one of the most amazing QBs of all-time. Always happy to watch some Rodgers coverage.

What kinda idiot meets Aaron Rodgers and the first thing he says is a subtle insult? "You're a lot smaller than I thought you'd be." Great way to make an impression on one of your favorite players. If I ever meet him, the first thing I'm gonna say is "Wow you're a lot taller than I expected."

"Your eyes are even MORE captivating in person."

I would think he'd get creeped out if that fan said that tho. Wink

Me: I love you. I want to be with you forever.
Aaron: What?
Me: Nothing.. just.. nothing.

Yea but that's as a kid...as an adult can you really still hold a "superhero" mentality about your favorite football players?

I'm just saying that IF as a youth I wasn't mesmerized by my "heroes", than what keeps me from having the same reaction as an adult?......

So Rodgers didn't like their portrayal of him on 60 Minutes.

Wait a minute. You're telling me Rodgers is being sensitive about a piece in which they play up his sensitivity?

Imagine that.

I think it was more their lack of coverage on the foundation he works with to help kids with cancer. They didn't mention it once and he stressed to them that it was something he is very passionate about.

But I don't think the sensitivity thing helped matters...

I'm hoping opposing players will try and rib him about his height issue and that causes him to throw 5 touchdowns every game.

I get that Aaron was ticked they didn't focus on the MACC fund at all, but I think he came across very jerk-like in that meeting with the fan. Get over it already. Go ahead and use whatever you want to use as inspiration for playing like the Manster that you are, but at a charity event, you can holster the hostility toward being 6'2.

I would say it was a rather non professional approach to handling the situation.....But to say he was a jerk, may be a bit harsh.....

The height was the jerk for not being taller.

Right.

Cutler would've responded with "I know you are but what am I?". Or, "yeah, well you're ugly".
