Have the link when the inevitable article comes out from Urban or Somers but Whiz just said in his presser that the "situation doesn't call for a change" at QB. No Ryan Lindley, sticking with Skelton.
Not a surprise but there it is regardless. _________________

Has Whiz ever came out and said he is going to make a change? _________________

| I think Whiz is starting to show some frustration. With the media and the team. |

| And there shouldn't be a changes at QB. John played ok. Even Troy Aikmen said he played well when protection was there. I think Troy knows a thing or two about the position. And remember, John is still a young QB who is playing with no running game to protect him, shaky O Line, and the receivers dropped a lot of balls today. |

He threw for over 300 yards 1 td and one pick
He did this with 5 or 6 big drops i can't remember off the top of my head, but still. He threw great balls when there was protection...and our line was playing better! _________________

There were somewhere between 3-5 dropped balls that would have been first downs. Doucet was responsible for many but Housler and Roberts had drops, Fitz slipped along the sidelines, it was just a mess out there. Skelton wasn't great but he could have had drives extended numerous times if other people did their jobs. _________________

2 of those "drops" were poorly thrown balls. That needs to be noted. _________________

I will say this without having seen the game.
I think what Skelton gave us today is enough to give this team a win in most games. However it is not a level of play that you want to lean on going forward. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

I agree 100%. But being a young player in my opinion he can improve, especially if others around him elevate their level of play as well. |

If our defense can get back to that early season level of play, I would agree. But if they don't, these types of performances won't win this team many games. _________________

If Whiz is really on the hot seat, we won't see Lindley barring injury. He won't risk his job off the performance of a rookie. Same token, it won't matter about Lindley if we get a new HC as they will want "their guy" ala Lienart/Whiz.

Just now in his presser, Whiz said he expects Kolb back "sooner rather than later". Did also say that he thought Skelton was much better this week than he was the previous 2. _________________

I feel compelled to note that John actually looked like he could really move this team up and down the field in the second half yesterday. It was against a D that has not been great this season, but many of the incompletions in that second half were not his fault. In-fact they were good throws that the receivers did not make plays on.
I remember back to back plays in the early third quarter, he had Larry wide open in a void between safety and CB for a 20-25 yard gainer if Larry does not slip. The next play he throws a rope to the sideline which Rob Housler proceeds to drop. 2nd and 3rd down both should have got us off the field. We ended up punting after a three and out. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's
