watching ESPN right now and they are talking about Big Ben and Eli Manning and the 2004 draft.
They started talking about how Eli went #1 and the Giants wanted Eli or Big Ben as their Quarterback. The Giants felt like a trade was falling through with the Chargers, so the Giants thought about trading back and trading with the Browns. So the Browns trade their #7 and and 2nd rd pick I believe they said for the #4 pick. Giants would of drafted Big Ben with the #7 pick
If that happens, the Browns never trade up to 6 but trade up to 4. Who would the Browns draft at #4. Browns dont draft a QB because of Tim Couch and Holcomb battling.
if the giants dont make that trade how different does the NFL go?
Cleveland possibly drafts Sean Taylor or possibly Phil Rivers. Big Ben goes to the Giants and Pittsburg takes a defensive player possibly.
Steelers maybe never win their superbowls, Giants never beat the Pats in the superbowl, and the pats possibly have a crazy amount of superbowl apperances and superbowl victories and etc
its crazy to think how crazy the NFL could of turned out if the Giants were never able to make that trade.
crazy to think how different the AFC north could be
Eli and Big Ben are HoF, if that trade never happen they possibly never develop into the great QBs they are.
what do you guys think could of been if that stuff happened |

Butch Davis made it known he wanted KWII or Sean Taylor(RIP). Once Taylor came off the board, Butch panic and trade our second to secure KWII.
So I would expect that the outcome would still be KWII or Sean Taylor. Probably Taylor. _________________ 2013 First Ballot Recipient of the Joe Blackburn Award |

Pittsburgh takes Steven Jackson if they don't take Ben. Bettis contemplating retirement, Willie Parker didn't exist in anyone's mind as a potential starter.
Donta Robinson was also a projection but went to Houston. _________________
