How has the Steelers Off been going?
Chip Kelly would cost more than we would pay
Haley would be more cost effective. |

I think this much has been made clear. It also means that Mike is not going to be adverse to paying two Head Coaches for a season if he feels that is where the issue is.

According to Forbes, Ken Whisenhunt is the 6th highest paid coach in the National Football League. Paying Chip Kelly wouldn't be an issue.

2 more years but the final year is a team option but I doubt that will be a big factor. We fire Denny Green with a year left in his deal. This won't be any different, should Mike Bidwill want it done.

If Whiz goes, than this team will have to spend a few years being rebuilt. I don't think it is realistic to expect Jim Harbough like results in Year 1 of a new coach's stint. Can this team withstand 3 years of rebuilding while core guys like Dockett, Rhodes, and Wilson get older?

You can make the argument that none of those mentioned are among the three best players on this defense right now. And the fact that Dockett has struggled big time to create pressure in 1 v 1 situations this year is an indictment on his ability.
