Not sure I agree with waiting until round 3 to address the secondary but I do think that we have to draft a safety. I also think that we will let Raiola walk/retire. Backus is playing pretty well so my guess is that we give Riley Reiff a shot at RT and let Gosder Cherilous walk also. |

Gosder, Durant and Raoila are a few guys I expect that could be off of our team next year. _________________

I like it. Would like DB help earlier but adding to the O line is important too. Rambo is a solid Saftey and I am not as worried about CB as a lot of people. I think the youth we have this year is developing nicely and will be solid next year. |

I'm not a fan of Womack over Jones. Also not a huge fan of not upgrading the secondary till the 3rd but... You did the next best thing imo which was hopefully draft best player available on the O-line.
Any mock that has us taking O-line help/Secondary help is a good one in my book. As the season starts to dwendle i'll look into players more closely. |

This is a very top heavy CB class, the rest are #3 at best CB's. Milliner, Rhodes and Banks could be #1 CB's but the rest aren't great. The OL class is insane, the safety class is great, there are some great LB's but the CB's just don't excite outside of the big 3. But, there are some good #1 or #2 CB's in FA, and I'd rather have a good vet at #2 than Bentley or another rookie. Green has potential, as does Greenwood. Rambo is a good playmaker safety and tackles very well which is why I chose him.
Warmack is a beast and would start over Peterman. Matthews could play LT and RT. We could get great OL guys this year. _________________

I don't really like taking an interior lineman in the 1st round unless we're talking about a center, especially considering we're probably going to be drafting in the 13-19 range.
Also not too sure about going OT in the second round--I think Cherilus will resign for a modest amount and obviously Reiff is the future at one of those spots. The team just needs too much defensive help to be spending these picks on offense yet again.
Otherwise, fine, but I'd prefer to address the secondary in some more meaningful fashion than to draft a guy in the third round and count on him as a rookie starter again, like they did with Spievey and Bentley. |
