i appreciate the help guys, he had a stroke wednesday and now he doesnt recognize anyone in the pictures

I'm so sorry Jaguar.....that is really terrible. It's so sad to hear about these things. The fact the you created such a great scrapbook tells me how much your grandfather means to you. Nothing will take away from that, and you can keep the scrapbook for yourself and the rest of your family to help remember happier times.
Does it seem like he might be able to get better with time?

Would you be able to put little notes with the pictures to say who they are, so maybe he can start remembering? Like "Mike Smith, you're grandson", "Joe Smith, your son", etc?

He did get it before he went back to the hospital. wednesday night he seemed to make a turn for the better but yesterday and today he has gotten worse. He keeps trying to tear the IVs and catheder(sp?) out so he has to be restrained, he cant remember anyones name.

I'm very close with my grandfather too. He was my best friend for quite a while. I hope things get better for your grandfather, sending good thoughts your way.
As far as scrapbooking goes, I'm about the least creative person in the world. It's not something I'd even consider undertaking, so I can't really help you out there.
Tell him to get well soon, from all of FF.
