| who cares....about Mewelde...... I previously thought that since he played for the Steelers I like to know what they are doing and who they play for now just like Limas Sweed, Urbik, and others. If they wore the uniform I just like to follow up on them to see how they are doing but as 43 said who cares so I guess I shouldn't care. |

It's hard enough to try and dress all the talented RB's we have now, if all of them are healthy: Mendy, Redman, Dwyer, Batch, and Rainey. We don't need to sign another RB who's worse than them. It's becoming the position we have the best depth at. |

Pretty sure he wasnt talking about us signing Moore...just since Moore was a part of the Steeler family he brought him up.
Not sure if it needed its own thread, but oh well.
Moore is on his last legs in the NFL. Being a third down specialist, there are a lot of younger players with potential gunning for those specialty spots. Good luck to him, but i feel at this point he is an injury call for teams he is familiar with. |

| I love you guys.......You all jump to conclusions that are not there. I think the readability level has diminished in life. NO WHERE....NO WHERE....did I say anything about bringing Moore back. Nor Sweed, Nor Urbik, Nor Swan, Nor Bradshaw, Nor Mean Joe Green,,,, I just said I like to see where they went and what they are doing since they were ONCE Steeler players. Just like the players that I played football with in high school and the Air Force. They were former teammates. Although I wish it I sure can't go back to the 70s I am curious as to how they are doing and if they are still alive. In Moore's case I wondered if he would still be in pro football. I DO NOT want to bring back Moore and again no where in my post did I even intimate that. And if you think I hinted at that then why did you not also think that would include Sweed and Urbik. Gosh, I did not know being curious about how former Steelers were doing would lead to the overthrow of everyone who plays that position on the team presently. |

Sorry Eaglehoc my mistake!! I thought you were referring to us bringing back players we once released with the likes of Sweed, McFadden, Foote, and others. You said where would he go, and I said I don't think we will sign him again like we have some of the other players. I never knocked your thread, just ruled out Pittsburgh from his future. Once again, my mistake. |

I get the point of this thread EagleHoc... but it's really a dead topic. Why would anyone care about the future of Mewelde Moore? He was nothing special to this organization. _________________ Come Follow My Oakland Multi-Sport Franchise! |

Its a serious question.
You already stated that this isnt a suggestion to bring him back.
And while he was a decent player for us, he isnt a player Steeler fans care about at all really.
If he retired....I could kinda see that...but I dont think any Steeler fans care that he got cut from a different team. _________________

Nothing wrong with the post Eaglehoc. you cant please everybody. Im glad you posted it because I didn't know and its of interest to me. Perhaps you should've posted some kind of bandwagon article about Manti Teo being Troy Polamalu for an interception that he didn't even make or an unblocked sack.
Follow the herd to slaughter. Keep making your own path, I appreciate it. _________________
