Yeah I know, and I was kidding. I just know everyone likes to overreact to a QB having a few good games, or 1 good season *cough, Geno Smith, cough*. _________________

What u guys think of Aaron Murray and Zack Dysert ? |
He's Fitzpatrick. Plays in a dink and dunk offense, doesn't have the arm needed to be a top QB in the NFL.
Worth checking out is EJ Manuel, FSU vs Virgina Tech tonight at 7:30pm. Haters most definitely welcome, crow will be served to your liking. |
OK so "dink and dunk offense" like the Pats offense? |
I know you're only joking but Miami's offense is exactly like this popgun garbage Fitz is capable of running. Watch the tape. Everything is slant routes and screen passes. When he throws it over 15 yards his receivers often have to slow down to let the ball come to them.
He's fugly and has bad hair too. That's right, I said it.
 |
In the Murray/Dysert thread I started in the Draft thread the feedback on Dysert looks good. |
That's great and I'm happy for you but it doesn't refute what I've seen. |

Yes, Smith plays well against subpar competition. I'd rather have a guy who plays well against tough competition as well. _________________

Please explain why Tyler Wilson is so much better than Tyler Bray?
Bray is 6'6", Wilson is 6'2".. Bray has the bigger frame and the bigger arm..
Wilson has had similar struggles in the SEC.. His arm strength and accuracy are both average..
I concede the negatives of Bray.. But Wilson has the EXACT same set of negative, but at least Bray has the upside of the big frame and power arm..
Wilson is just a whole lot of average and I dont see where the love comes from..
Can someone help me out? _________________

Most likely any FA QB that we can reasonably get will not be an upgrade over Fitz..
Probably going to be a drafted QB.. With any luck it will be one with a huge arm.. _________________

Bray or Wilson in the first (I know ya hate Wilson) or Dysert or Glennon in the second, and I'd be ecstatic. _________________

I dont hate Wilson.. I prefer Bray, and I just dont understand why Wilson seems to be widely considered to be far superior here..
I just want to know the thought process that people use to rate him so much higher.. _________________

Well perhaps since you are a pro scout and everyone else just doesn't know [inappropriate/removed], I guess you are right than. Dysert must be garbage !! |

BTW his TD/INT ratio is awful and he's 15-26 as a starter. |

Tyler Wilson V. SEC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>...... Tyler Bray V. SEC
Plus Wilson doesn't have the immaturity issues Bray has, and has better leadership skills. And it's not like he has a wimpy arm, i'll give Bray that, but Wilson is much more accurate and leads his team better. You may look at this year and see otherwise but it's not Wilson's fault that Arkansas had all the off season issues and transition. _________________

Yeah wilson's OL could be the worst in the SEC while tennessee's is very good at pass blocking. Wilson gets demolished every game and played with a hip pointer last week. Hamilton is wilson's only good receiver since his TE gragg has been injured while bray has 3 good ones. I mean wilson has made some mistakes this year but lets face it he doesnt have a coach who knows what hes doing. Last year will hopefully be the wilson we'll see in the NFL. His floor IMO would be christian ponder with better arm strength...certainly a safer pick than someone like mallett was |
