Now let's get some predictions and pregame chatter up in here. Coming off a disappointing loss after a long week, the team has a chance at redemption at home. As always, Give 'em hell.



Prediction: 24-13 W

1. Jekyll or Hyde?

So, which defense shows up? The one that has been gashed several times against the run the past two games or the one that actually gave a damn and found the ball carrier? I'll tell you one thing, if the defense from the past two games shows up, it's going to be a long game. Adrian Peterson is the kinda guy that will just make us look silly if we get lazy. And man up on 3rd down dammit!
2. Jon Ryan 4 MVP

This is the type of game where you must maintain and win the battle of field position. Both of these teams have solid defenses in 2012 and mediocre offenses that don't push the ball. Whichever team allows themselves the shorter distance to travel on offense will win this game.
3. Come Out With A Plus

Losing the turnover battle is another easy way to lose a game like this. The defense needs to start forcing more turnovers in critical situations if they're going to give up so many yards. The offense needs to take care of the football and avoid giving the ball up. Come out of this game with more turnovers on defense than offense.



Key Matchup of the Game: Matt Kalil vs Chris Clemons
Clemons has been quiet the past two away games but tends to bring his A-game at home. He'll be going up against the #3 overall pick out of USC who has actually looked damn good so far in the NFL. Clemons is our main source of pass rush, so if Kalil eliminates him we're in trouble.

2013 Adopt a Minnesota Viking - Jared Allen - DE - #69

As long as we don't turn the ball over, this should be a very winnable game. Our run defense is still good, despite some poor lapses at times and it should be enough to stop the Vikings ground game. Even though we struggle on 3rd down defense, Christian Ponder has really been struggling as of late. It has been so bad, that I even dropped him from my fantasy team (Tom Brady is on a bye, so I'm screwed this week. I picked up Tannenhill, but he promptly got injured, leaving me with no choice, but to pick up Wilson. This week is a lost cause.) This game like many of the others, is gonna be a defensive struggle. Who ever makes the least amount of mistakes on offense, is gonna come out on top. I see a good outing for Marshawn Lynch in a 19-13 win.
