Denver might have a legitimate argument for being the #2 team in the AFC.

While you might be right, I think that says more about the decline of the Steelers and Ravens than it does the quality of the Broncos.

And I have a hard time putting them ahead of us. We've played a a much tougher schedule.

No the Pats haven't, Denver has played;

Pittsburgh
Atlanta
Houston
Oakland
New England
San Diego
New Orleans
Cincinnati

Granted, their 3 losses come against the best teams in that run, but the New England game was the only one they lost by 2 scores. They've done a good job of handling the weaker teams (and Pittsburgh).

By comparison, the Pats have lost to Arizona (about to be 4-5), Seattle (4-4) and Baltimore (soon to be 6-2) and have blown out 3 of the worst teams in the NFL (Tennessee, Buffalo, St. Louis) and almost lost to a bad Jets team.

I don't think it's clear cut either way, but the Pats losing to 2 mediocre-to-bad teams and almost losing to the Jets is a point in Denver's favor.

I meant purely defensively. Seattle and Arizona are miles better the best defense they've had to play. Raiders, Saints, Patriots. Awful pass defenses. Atlanta and Houston are decent, but they lost those games.

Houston and Pittsburgh are #1 and #3 in pass defense in yards/attempt (as well as overall yards). Seattle is #6, Arizona is #8

In terms of QB rating against:

Houston - #3
Atlanta - #5
Arizona - #6
Seattle - #10

Any way you cut it, the Broncos have faced tougher pass defenses.

Ravens Offense in the 2nd half is a dumpster fire.

Good thing they're playing a team which has been a dumpster fire for 13 years

AJ Green is making me miss having a WR over 6 feet tall.

AJ makes a lot of people envious...just flipped it on to see him easily gliding by Champ.

Gawd is he better than Calvin. Green has unreal/Moss-like short area quickness for someone his size.

Of course I have to face Brandon Marshall on the day he goes for 122 and 3TDs. Good thing the rest of my team is tearing it up.
