I think that time was a while ago. Like, for instance, when Andy Reid said "hey, bringing in Michael Vick would be a good idea". Or when Andy Reid said "hey, promoting my offensive line coach to defensive coordinator would be a good idea". Or when Andy Reid said, "hey, burning all my timeouts by by the end of the third quarter would be a good idea", which, I guess, is always happening. Regardless, I think they probably missed the deadline on cleaning house by a few years, minimum. |
No doubt. I think Reid's a pretty good coach (maybe more a reflection of how bad many NFL coaches are) but the Vick thing has really doomed both his tenure as well as the franchise.
Getting very little from Brandon Graham and Danny Watkins hasn't helped either. |
The Vick move looked pretty good after Year 1 to be fair. Not so much lately.
Good news for Philly is they can dump him after this year. _________________

That Saints D is 100x worse than the 2011 counterpart. _________________

It's been absolutely horrific.
A good example as to why people who say "ZOMG TEH PATS D COULDN"T BE ANY WORSSSEEE" are being ridiculous.
The Saints (coming into tonight) are giving up a staggering 8.7 YPA (the Pats are at 7.7). |

Nope. T-Rex arms.
I'm completely guilty on Sapp, though. I was naive and focused way too much on height and not nearly enough on bulk and arm length. I also underestimated how bad his knee injuries were.
Didn't like Hughes, and absolutely hated Kindle. _________________ Shut up, NBT |

Cam Jordan showing up big time tonight, he's shown a ton of growth this year by all accounts. _________________

Cameron Jordan wishes he could play against a backup right tackle against a left-handed QB who has no internal clock more often. Three sacks tonight, doubling his season total and almost double his career total (4) _________________ Shut up, NBT |

| Hey, could someone tell Andy Reid that you're allowed to run between the tackles with your Pro Bowl running back when you're in the red-zone? I think he forgot again. |

Bell is usually their starting left tackle, for the record. But whatever, keep hatin _________________

But whatever, keep hatin | Yeah, after their top two left tackles get hurt and after he passed the fifth round rookie for the backup tackle job (which he hadn't done by week 1). And even then, not all decent left tackles can play right tackle. Vernon Gholston would've gotten multiple sacks against Bell tonight. _________________ Shut up, NBT |
