As far as I can tell, simply not being Sergio Brown has earned Gregory the description of "not bad"
From what I've seen, he's been every bit as bad in New England as he was in San Diego - which is pretty bad. |
If you had to choose between Gregory and Chung at SS, who would you take?
I'd take Gregory. |
Chung. If he's used in a way which best utilizes his skills (like he was in 2010) he is a better player than Gregory.
Whether it's because he's being forced into a role which ill suits him, or because of injuries, or whatever the case is, Chung has been really bad this year. But I still think he offers more than Gregory who has never in his career been better than mediocre.
Honestly, I hope they're both gone next year with Wilson/McCourty starting but for now, Chung is an easy pick as a pure SS. |

Chung easily hes has been bad this year no doubt, but he has shown in the past he can be a very good saftey. | When? |
Go look at the stats of when He's on the feild compared to when hes off. Its a huge difference. Hell even Borges likes Chung |

100% with you on this one. I wouldnt have mine wilson started, but what we have seen in the games he starts he clearly isn't ready. |

Usually when Chung is off the field, you get crap like Sergio Brown, Nate Ebner, Matthew Slater etc on the field so of course there is a huge difference.
Chung, on his best days, is above average (but I wouldn't go as far as to say "very good"). That's good enough for me, if he's paired with good FS.
Gregory, on his best days, is mediocre and IMO has never better than average (in either New England or San Diego).
Chung has had more bad moments than Gregory this year, but based on each player's recent track record, I wouldn't read much into that. They both have plenty of flaws, but Gregory offers virtually no positives other than being a bit more reliable in deep coverage - which is less relevant at SS, |

Bruv, neither Chung or DB anyone on the roster is as bad as the Skin's secondary. Right now bringing in Talib seems like the greatest move ever! _________________ All the other D's with the pumped up schemes

I'm currently in the third season of a career with the Redskins in Madden, I wouldn't worry about it, they shape up nicely. Griffin, Hall, and Wilson are all like 85 and up! |

No, he's not allowed any contact with the team whatsoever. Having him during the bye week could have been really advantageous. _________________

Pats released Tarp. Probably to make room for Talib. _________________

Don't need to. Pats have a roster exemption for now. Presumably there's another roster move they intend to make. _________________

There had to be a reason they'd cut Tarp before they needed that spot, and wanting him to clear waivers so they can sign him to the PS sooner makes sense. _________________ Shut up, NBT |
