Does it have Matt Barkley and Barrett Jones in it? |
It does not have either, but I know people are going to hate it. _________________

Its a quarterback league and even if you have the guy its impossible to really make a play for a championship if your guy gets hurt for the year or tends to get injury prone over the year.
So that 2nd quarterback spot isn't a flyer on a 6th round pick anymore. A GM and Coach will neglect another more pressing need if they really get attracted to a QB who they feel could be there guy.
Kevin Kolb Russel Wilson Ryan Mallette are recent examples. Glennon could come in and tear up the combine and say all the right things and you could see Raiders Chief or Maybe Dallas come up again back into the top 64 picks to secure him(just a example) but if they love him they will put the trigger. |
I was talking about teams looking to take a QB in the first....
I doubt Cleveland takes one in the first...Weeden hasn't been bad enough to give up on him after one year.
Dallas.....no. They could look for one in the 3rd like you said
Arizona will probably go QB in the 2nd....they still have Kolb who played dece.nt for them this year before he got hurt
Oakland I think should look for a QB high...but they prob won't....they seem to like Pryor as a project maybe they will get a guy latee in the draft
Kansas City, Jacksonville, Buffalo, and the Eagles are the four most likely teams to go QB in the first.....the rest of the teams aren't as desperate for one so they can sit back and let one of the 2nd-3rd round guys fall to them seeing as this QB class is pretty deep. _________________

Well if Mike Vick is done for the season and we get a good look at Foles Skywalker that will effect who we draft in the first round. If Foles produces above average, we could be looking at an OL in the first round. If Foles doesn't, we best do our homework on every major QB. _________________

When you combine the importance of position along with talent, Johnthan Banks looks like a top 10 lock to me precombine.
Johnthan Banks CB Mississippi State 6-1 185
I would select him over any of the offensive tackles precombine if Nnamdi is released. |

What other football fans ask that about a CB prospect? The Eagles have two starting safeties and at least one linebacker (per game) that can't tackle. Those need to be addressed far before looking at the tackling ability of a cornerback. As long as the cornerback isn't avoiding contact and missing the tackles that he should make. But being great at stopping the run like Sheldon and Vincent is a luxury... |

Last time I checked, tackling is an important part of football.
It's like saying does a running back pass protect - you can get so far without it, but it's going to cause your ultimate downfall. _________________

Neither is a yes or no thing. Both can be dealt with if the guy is just average. A CB is fine if he is just an average tackler. A RB simply will not be a 3 down player if he is only average. |
