He fell off the map real quick.
I remember he was a big play guy for Washington not too long ago, what happened to him? _________________

What was this guy's deal? When McNabb was at quarterback he lit it up and he hasn't done anything since.
EDIT: looks like I'm not the only one wondering. _________________

Get physical with him and he can't get deep, negating one,if not his only, assets. |

Armstrong got bumped by the acquisition of Jabar Gaffney who's probably going to be more reliable. Armstrong had a few chances and mostly dropped what went his way and was otherwise covered well.
We also have Marlon Moore who's a real solid Special Teamer for us who has had a couple big receptions for us lately, one for a TD at home and one this past weekend against the Jets.
I guess Armstrong just got too far down the list and the team decided to boot him, I guess.
We're also all waiting to see what develops with the rookie WR we kept (Reshard Matthews) who seemed to be a rather big guy who caught most everything thrown his way during pre-season. No one quite knows why we've seen neither hide nor hair of him since. He's on our Active Roster though so it looks like this for us:
1.) Brian Hartline
2.) Davone Bess
3.) Jabar Gaffney
4.) Marlon Moore
5.) Reshard Matthews
Story. Over. |

I guess he's Mike Thomas's replacement. I guess you could do worse. _________________ RIP SuperSkinFan

I like this move, ive seen plenty of washington games and when he was there he was making some big plays, but his hands are suspect _________________

He has deep speed with suspect hands.
With Gabbert 6 for 17 for 197 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT...I question how much of an impact Anthony Armstrong will have. The majority of Gabbert's yardage comes from passes throws between 21-30 yards. Armstrong's true value is when you have a QB who is able to toss it 35+ yards with accuracy. _________________

In that sense, he fits. I don't expect much if any impact, but we'll see. He can't be much less valuabe than Mike Thomas was. _________________
