He is horrible.

And we play the Lions this week. Awesome. lmao

Stupid trade but so is this comment. Doubt he sees any playing time this week

...but he's probably still got some knowledge of the offense. Sit him down with DCs in the film room, get a feel for how pre-snap reads work for this offense, where check down options will come from.

If anything, I see this as an advantage to the Lions.

Well maybe they won't draft one in round 1 or 2 this year. Millen 2.0

Well it cant be a 4th. Minny has it. Probably a 6th or a future pick (we like to trade these).

He's not Millen 2.0, Burleson is probably done with us and they obviously feel he can make some impact this year and in the future. He'll have Stafford throwing to him which is a large improvement over Gabbert. He'll be going up against 2nd/3rd string CB's and LB's. He'll see much friendlier matchups on our team. Besides, isnt this his first bad year?

He was our 4th receiver, so the matchups he sees will be no better. And he started sucking after week 4-ish last year.

Only 1 drop? Sounds like a superstar compared to our WR's. Pettigrew is due for 2 dropped TD's every game. The guy he's replacing on the roster (Burleson) also had the dropsies. The bulk stats seem ugly though.

Oh, I thought I saw someone say he was your #2. Whatever. The matchup will still be a little better because teams have to double or triple Calvin and theres not weapon on the Jags that requires so much attention. Not much better if what youre saying is true, but still a little better.

I know for a fact he's had more than one drop. He dropped a TD pass 2 days ago against GB.

And it says only 3 drops for Blackmon... We all know he's had way more than 3 drops this season.

Nice. Wish him best of luck on Detroit. Don't know what happened to him, maybe CJ can teach him how to not suck.

Does he return kicks, or at least have the potential to return kicks?

He can return kickoffs. He tries to return punts but he's horrible at it. When he fields a punt, it looks like he's running in quicksand.

I like mike thomas as a player. He didn't like being on the jaguars. I think that was evident.

He could def do something for the lions. I am not saying he will be a 1000 yard guy but I could see him making an impact.
