Well that is not good news at all. Is it worth trying to trade for somebody? When Larson and Trueblood are our options, I'm open to seeing what else is out there. I know there is the whole next man up mentality, but when you lose 2 pro bowl caliber guards things are gonna get worse before they get better. Hope Freeman is working on his scrambling skills _________________

I think we'd be better off with two scarecrows at guard than Larsen and Trueblood. |
how I felt when I thought about Larsen starting again....You know I had some insight that the Bucs were looking for another lineman last week, just didnt think it was for this _________________

jesus christ.... this is a huge blow for everybody... Martin, Freeman, the coaching staff, the defense, just the whole team... gonna have to come up with a new gameplan now if you ask me
at least its just a toe injury and he can hopefully come back at 100% next year _________________

Over the past 3 years, it makes you wonder how so many Buc players have finished the season on IR.
2010:
- McCoy
- Benn
- Quincy Black
- Aqib Talib
-Davin Joseph
-Cody Grimm
2011:
- Talib
- McCoy
2012:
- Gaitor (able to come back)
- Joseph
- Nicks
- Clayborn
Those were/are key players in respective years. Tampa seems to have the injury bug. |

| We need to give Jason Brown a call. He was a bust for the Rams but if we give him a second chance he might be a solid pick-up for us. At this point, we are splitting hairs with Larsen/Trueblood at the guard spot. Just when Martin and Freeman started to hit their stride we take another blow due to injury. Ah well, if we win 6-7 games this year I'll be okay with that. |

This really hurts. However I still think we can go on a run to end the season. But this injury just reinforces the fact that this team isn't doing anything big this season. Championship football teams find ways to move on from whatever injurys happen and keep winning. But when you have that many key guys go down.. I mean come on. No one will be able to withstand that. On the plus side I think we could be nasty as a team next season. _________________

I really have doubts that we can go on any sort of run..our line has Penn and then below average at best players. Freeman will be lucky to have 2 seconds in the pocket, Martin will be lucky to see any holes. _________________

Martin does a good job finding holes and creating space so I'm not as worried with him back there. If Blount was our starter the. We'd have issues. |
