Today on the radio Kurt said he'd be interested in coaching at some point. How bout Haley for HC, Kurt for QBC and Cioffi for DC? A guy can dream... _________________

| there is no excuse that Whiz still has a job right now after this horrific display today. An 8 game losing streak should be enough for him to be shown the door because the games are PAINFUL to watch. There is no communication on offense and they cant even move the ball. I think it was 0 for 15 on 3rd down, which is unacceptable. |

There is no point in making an in season change. You gain nothing from it.
Would much rather hang onto him for the season and then kick him out at the end. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

"Creative Offensive Consultant" he said he is not going to want to coach in the immediate future. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

| i think they have to fire him before the locker room goes out of control with players fighting. A change will bring the tea closer together |

He'll finish the year out but I think this is definitely it for him. The QB situation here is unacceptable. People say it's hard to replace a guy like Kurt and it obviously is but Whiz has had 3 years to find somebody. That's ample time. Hell, he had 3 years when Kurt was here to develop someone behind him and he didn't do that either. It's damn hard to win in this league without a QB. Whiz's gross mis-use of the position can't be ignored any longer. It's time. _________________

Bolded: There's nothing, nothing at all, to suggest that it true. Nothing.
Whiz needs to be fired simply and only because he's not winning football games. _________________

Actually it could be true sometimes. When a coach is fired, the team usually has a short burst of good play. In soccer, it's about 7-8 games on average that a teams play increases and then drops again. I've had this discussion in my soccer forums and it just happened to my team this year. The problem is Whiz is a player coach not some cold, no-nonsense coach so that wouldn't likely be the case here. It only works for coaches the players don't necessarily like. |

Anyone who truely believes Whiz is safe needs their head examined.
Guys outta here, just a matter of time. Fact is, if we don't hire Ray, we will probably lose him too. _________________

Hopefully our next DC, if we have one, will take a page out of Horton's playbook. Our defense is showing what it does well and the next DC is gonna have to realize how dangerous D-Wash is as a blitzer too. |

Wow, I just don't know what to say anymore. If Whiz is gone, I understand but I still don't think it is the right move. I would like to hear some explanation for yesterday, anything like we want to see what Lindley has for the future or Skelton is a jerk. What was with Beanie and the line?
Only way I am in favor of firing whiz is if they promote Horton, maybe get Turner as OC. Make sure Grimm goes too, run blocking is his thing _________________ Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.

I've heard if it happens, Matt Raich would be the top internal candidate for the job. _________________
