What can you guys tell me about Thomas? His 2012 statistics jumped out at me right off of the bat. What is your take on him as an NFL prospect? I believe he plays SS for the Bulldogs, but does he have the range to play FS? How does he compare to some of the other bigger name safety prospects? _________________

His injury history will definitely need to be checked out, and I wonder if that is why he hasn't received more attention than he has. With several bigger name safety prospects performing below expectations so far this year, maybe Thomas can make a move up draft boards and end up as a solid third round prospect or maybe one of those "surprise" second round picks?

He has been a ballhawk this year at Fresno State. Thomas has great instincts and a solid tackler. He's having a great season after last year injury and will probably go in the 3rd round. _________________

Good feedback. I am wondering if his injuries could be something of a "ticking time bomb" or more than likely something that doesn't have a much of a chance of ever causing potential recurring injuries. Maybe someone with more understanding of injuries could provide some comments on the injuries Thomas has sustained to his left leg and if they could be a potential down-the-road issue or not. _________________

| Does anyone know where I can find a full game cut-up of Thomas? I've searched Youtube endlessly for his highlights, but no luck. I'm dying to watch this kid in action, thanks. |

Find people who play Fresno, see if you can find him. _________________

Awesome, I would love to see some footage of Derek Carr and Phillip Thomas from Fresno State and Jamar Taylor from Boise State. _________________

THIS GUY!!!!!
I love Thomas as he is the complete package. He is very good in coverage, has great instincts, and sound tackler. Thomas has a few times blown his assignment on a flea flicker and then last week against the option. Aside from that, he has been lights out. His injury was just a freak accident in a non contact drill and shouldn't scare anyone off. Like I said in the other thread, he will be a steal for any team that takes him after the 2nd round. _________________
