The Dallas Cowboys built a great team around three key players. There Triplets.
Do we now have ours in Weeden, Richardson and Gordon?
Call me a homer but i think we do.
With these three rookies who all apear to be learning very fast i see a very bright future. _________________

Maybe a too early to tell choice for the poll would have been a good idea.
Also maybe it would be a good idea if I didn't start polls after drinking at work in the sun. _________________

BOTH sound like a good idea. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

We have physical potential and talent at RB and WR. Probably at QB too. _________________

Personally I'd love to see Weeden Little Gordon Cooper Benjamin and Camerion stay in Cleveland and work to become a unit.
or maybe go out to AZ to Fitzgerald receiver camp or Chris Carters camp. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

I hope all of you are just being optimistic... Weeden has been improving but will never be a top 10 QB. I cant really make any assumption of Trent yet, but still I have doubts about him being a top 5 RB. Only guy I am high on is Gordon, I think we may have found a gem in the S.D.
So maybe we have found our "triplets" but they are more like the C version of them, if they live up to full potential. _________________

Your post is a giant contradiction.
- We are all being optimistic for think the 3 of them could be good together
-You think it's impossible for Weeden to be a top 10 QB (even giving his very successful last 3-4 games)
-You think Trent will likely never be a top 5 RB (even though he destroyed the SEC and the NFL's 2nd best run D, while being injured)
-But you think Gordon is a "gem"? the guy that has played one season of college ball, eight pro games, and coudln't pass a drug test? He's caught only 17 of the 38 passes thrown to him. Made most of his big plays by busted coverage. And is still learning how to play football.
So you think the guy that has the most working against him, is the most likely to succeed, but the rest of us are being too optimistic?
I think every post in this thread contained something along the lines of "physical talent" or "potential" to do so. Don't think anyone got carried away. I think thats a reasonable amount of optimism.
I think all of them could be very good, and I enjoy optimism as much as anyone, but I think your optimism is a bit busted. _________________ 2013 First Ballot Recipient of the Joe Blackburn Award |

I am no Weeden supporter by any stretch, but that's an assumption as negative as any positive one. You don't think he could be as good as Matt Schaub? _________________

Weeded physically is just as good as a Drew Brees, Tom Brady, or Peyton Manning. I think he could easily be a top 10 QB he'll be a better player then Tony Romo.
Richardson if he learns how to hit the hole hard could be the best back in the game
Gordon to me is the next Terrell Owens physically nothing will hold him back from becoming a top 5 receiver in this league.
I think 3 years from now that will be a as good a QB, RB, WR combination as there is in the game. _________________

Weeden is physically a better payer than Drew Brees, and probably Tom Brady as a rookie as well. _________________

Your not drinking again are you? Way too early to tell. Gordon is an awesome #2. Trich is a stud. But saying Weeden is Aikman?
that is all
