We won. Don't care much for what happened today.

Need to win one more and get healthy.

James Jones is Good!
Alex Green isn't looking like much tbh, felt like he missed out on a lot of yards. Our Oline can't run block either.
Bryan Bulaga looks BAD. Idk what's wrong with him this year.
Defense the young DBs look GREAT. I've been pimpin. Davon House and he came up big!
Hope Worthy's concussion isn't big.
We need Jennings Or Nelson Bad.
Finley didn't even try on that deep ball smh, then when our back up TE was wide open he drops it. Can't replace bad with worse

We got the dub but man was that frustrating to watch. Very, very few pass plays called to the middle of the field. We need to get back to taking what the D gives us and sustaining drives. If we do that, then the deep balls will open up. The last two weeks (Houston, St. Louis) are proof of that.

- Pathetic game but a win none the less
- Where was Clay all day??
- Let's hear about how Alex Green is the savior
- So who wants Williams to start over Finley?
- We need to draft more interior pass rushers
- Why so little Cobb in the backfield?
- This team NEEDS a bye week
- Hopefully Jordy is a go next week

Ugly but better than a loss. Full focus on Arizona before the bye. We need some dudes back for this game or I think they can pull it out.

Hope Worhty's concussion isn't too severe.

Also, our young CBs look so promising. Love Hayward and House so far.

The maturity of our defense will hopefully continue, but in the meantime, while there are some individual efforts by some of the young guys that are encouraging, the overall defense still gives up way too many easy yards. I'm not smart enough to know whether its scheme or talent at this point, it certainly is puzzling. A more precise passer than Gabbert and we are discussing a loss today. To make matters worse, MJD or no MJD, it has become increasingly obvious that any given Sunday my Grandma would have a chance at 100 yards rushing.

Our yards were much harder to come by than theirs today and that has become a recurring theme more often than not.

I compare our running back situation to back when we tried drafting tight ends to play tackle. Major fail. Draft a running back to run the ball. He may not be able to catch the ball out of the backfield or pass protect like a lineman, but he needs to be able to rush the football. I think we are trying to put a square peg in a round hole. Lots of teams with second and third string backs gaining yards. Draft a pure running back TT.

A win is a win but this defense better make some strides before playoff time or I fear another early exit.

Clay had some good pressures, but were gonna miss Woodson against a good team.

The passing game looked ugly. Tagging Jennings looks better and better.

Finley is a joke.

Alex Greene was slipping and tripping all over the place again. Am i the only one seeing this?

Rodgers is getting beat up back there and had 2 fumbles.

A win is a win in the NFL though. 5-3 isnt bad, but 7-1 is what it should be and we all know it.

You know what, I'm glad that we are 5-3 instead of 7-1. No way to gloss over some of the problems we have with this record. There is some work to be done and I just hope that the personnel is good enough to make the needed improvements. A 7-1 record would just have everyone thinking happy thoughts on the way to another early exit.

Gabbert is a talented cat. He showed up pretty big this game and was making stick throws pretty much all day. If they didn't have a ton of drops, Gabbert would have had a much better day. Guy impressed me today.
