I would also like to point out the very odd pattern that San Francisco's season has taken. Obviously it's pretty meaningless and coincidental, but interesting nonetheless.
Every third week, the Niners have an absolutely miserable game. All of their losses and ties have come every third week of the season, and those losses have been ugly.
Week 3: Crushed by Minnesota
Week 6: Crushed by New York at home
Week 10 (bye in week 9): Tie St. Louis at home with a horrid performance
Week 13: Lose at St. Louis in another putrid game
Week 16: Demolished by Seattle
If this trend were to continue, San Francisco would crush Arizona next week. Then assuming that we beat Minnesota, they would go on to beat their wild card opponent, while coming to Lambeau the next weekend and laying an egg against the Packers .
Once again, none of this is that relevant, but still a weird trend to see. _________________

Seems relevant to me, actually. It shows a level of inconsistency that doesn't have to do with getting hot or cold, but from just playing badly pretty regularly throughout the year.
Obviously, it's exciting to get a bye...it's one fewer chance to lose, really. I get as a player wanting to stay in that weekly rhythm though, so hopefully the benefit of getting healthier will outweigh the potential loss of rhythm. _________________ "My style is impetuous. Pat Lee sighting for the Lions. I didn't know he was there. Shows how much I pay attention to the Lions. And Pat Lee. _________________ GO PACK GO!

That "non-fumble" by Luck was a joke. Not only was that a fumble, but if it was a forward pass, as they ruled, then it was a backwards pass. _________________

| Bears fans should hope their team doesn't make the playoffs. This team is so bad. |

| Two plays later, Stafford fumbles and Peppers recovers it! Bears ten yards from the endzone. |

Oh they will get destroyed very likely. But if it keeps the Giants out, I'm all for it. |

| Why are they crediting Jennings? That was simply Stafford being Stafford. |

He did catch it. Something Brandon Marshall can't seem to do so far. _________________ GO PACK GO!
