| Quote: | "Several" league executives tell CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora that they would not be surprised if LeGarrette Blount were shipped out of Tampa Bay prior to Tuesday's 4PM ET trade deadline.
The same execs named Rams WR Steve Smith, Browns QB Colt McCoy, and Dolphins QB Matt Moore as trade candidates, although the latter is much less likely with Ryan Tannehill coming off Week 8 knee and quad injuries. A Blount trade would probably the the least surprising of the group. The Bucs can move forward with D.J. Ware and rookie Michael Smith behind featured workhorse Doug Martin. We suspect they couldn't get back more than a sixth- or seventh-round pick. |

| If we can bring in an upgrade over Eric Wright, make the trade without thinking twice. We seriously can't expect to win these next two weeks with E.J Biggers, Leonard Johnson, and Myron Lewis as our starting cornerbacks. We get Talib back in two weeks, cool, but we're probably going to be the 32nd pass D during that span. Worst case scenario we move Barber back to CB, Biggers plays #2, Johnson as the #3, that moves Lewis as the #4 guy and we start Ahmad Black at FS. |

| Quote: | The Nashville Tennessean reports "indications are" Jared Cook has requested a trade ahead of Tuesday's deadline.
In the final year of his rookie deal, Cook is apparently amongst the legion of observers miffed at his usage this season. Cook played just 25-of-59 offensive snaps in Sunday's overtime loss, and has been a 50-percent player or worse almost every week since Week 2. He's been targeted only 41 times on the year. Although Cook's trade request is a strong indication he won't be looking to re-sign with the Titans this offseason, they hold all the leverage. He'll likely still be a Titan this time next week. |
