If we want to get back on track, this game would be it.
But, its hard to beat another football team when you are too busy beating yourself...
Right now:
Seattle: 24
Minnesota: 14
This team needs to show me they can play smart, turnover free football. We haven't seen that since what? week 4? _________________

Unless the defense forces some short-field turnovers or we have a great play on special teams I would be very surprised if the offense scores more than 10 points against this defense.
We need to run the ball 30+ times to have any shot.
The SEA offense isn't great, but we have given up three 100-yard rushers in a row, which doesn't bode well, and Rice is dangerous when healthy. Losing Cook is a big loss.
On the road, coming off a terrible performance. I think this one is going to get ugly. Last night was the start of a very, very long end to the season. _________________ From the fool’s gold mouthpiece the hollow horn,

The Vikings are winning this game. I guarantee it. I don't care what the cynics say.
Here are the results of the other visits for the Vikings to Seahawks/Qwest/CenturyLink....
10/22/06: Vikings 31, Seahawks 13
9/29/02: Seahawks 48, Vikings 23 (I witnessed that Sunday night atrocity in person)
So, the Vikings are 1-1 in their visits to the Great Northwest in the last decade...and while the Seahawks are known to have a pretty darn good home field advantage, they've been rather average in the Pete Carroll era. They are 3-0 this year, which is impressive, but the previous 2 years, they are a rather middlin' 9-7 at home. Let's get them started back down to that next week! _________________

Run the ball. Run some deep passes nit to the sidelines. Run Rudolph down the seem . Run the ball on third and short. Run the ball. _________________ Wins are a team stat, not a QB stat |

I think both these teams have somewhat overachieved.
I suspect this game is going to look a lot like the Arizona game with ugly QB play from both Ponder and Wilson. _________________

Struggling young QB going to the loudest stadium against probably the league's best defense.

Neither quarterback will be much of a factor in this one, except for maybe helping the other team out. Marshawn Lynch will probably run wild on the Vikings defense though.
Without good help from the defense or special teams, I don't think the Vikings offense will be able to score any points on the Seahawks defense. _________________

Coin flip like every other game.
Vikings could win because one of:
Ponder has a game like early in the season.
Peterson does what Peterson does.
Defense shuts down Marshawn Lynch
Vikings could lose because one of:
Marshawn Lynch gets 150 yards rushing
Offensive line forgets to block
Vikings turn the ball over 4 times _________________

I like the Vikings in this game. Seattle is a team that style of play fits well for the Vikings. Seattle doesn't have the offense to put up a lot of points which bodes well for our offense and defense. There defense is great and well cause problems for Ponder. However, I see Harvin having a good game since his game is screens and plays where Seattle can really use there best attributes in being physical and pressing him on the line.
I can see it being 17-10 game for either team. It well hinge on can the Vikings stop Lynch because the last three games the run D has been bad. _________________

While I don't think we win, it won't be a blowout. Their offense doesn't scare me a bit. Russell Wilson isn't capable of sustaining long drives yet. Most of his success has come off of capitalizing on the deep ball, which we have done an excellent job defending this year. If the run D can't sort itself out, then Lynch could go BeastMode but I don't expect it.
The keys on offense will be scoring and Peterson. The Seahawks aren't letting up anything deep, and they will get after Ponder. Gotta use screens and delays to counteract their agreesive nature. While it will be a tough one, if we can execute our gameplan we can win. _________________

Neither offense will do all that well in this game, so it is going to be a game of inches, turnovers, and field position. I think Seattle will win the battle when it comes to that. They seem to play mistake free football from what I have seen of them.
13-16 Seahawks. _________________

Most people said they expected us after week 9 to be 6-3.
If we win this week, it surely eases the loss of last night.
But this will be no easy challenge. Everything is going in favor of Seattle...
and we gotta cut out these stupid turnovers. they are awful! _________________

What's amazing is that Bradley has managed to do it with a bunch of no-name guys. Oh crap, I just noticed that Bradley is a Bison from NDSU...now, I'm even more motivated for the Vikings to win. _________________
