Feel like this could be one of those seminal performances of the year, but alas it would be against a 1-5 team so no one would pay any attn. _________________

I can see another slow start for the offense on the road. Their top corner, Gamble, just went out for the year so look for Cutler to find Marshall on the reg. Cam will have a couple turn-overs and blame the world. Bears win. What's new?
Edit: Ouch. Just saw Beason is also out for the season. Gotta feel for the Carolina Cam's. |

Tillman and Smith will be a good battle to watch, they also have a history. _________________ 👮

On paper this looks like a 34-7 win for us. Carolina is hurting with Beason and Gamble out for the year. Cam has a few weapons, but no one 'scary' LeFell, Steve Smith(havent heard anything from him all year), and the return of Greg Olsen. Looking at their schedule, 4 of their 5 losses have been by 6 points or less, so, much like the lions, they can be in games, they just havent finished. If Cutler if healthy, and Forte runs wild on them like he did in the last 2 meetings between us(including a 200 yard rushing game) we should win. _________________ Adopt a Bear:

Run the no huddle offense.
Get QB Campbell some playing time.
Rest some starters.
Get Hester to run one back.
Add to stats.
Run the Statue of Liberty play. _________________ "I have to keep playing so people over 40 will have somebody to root for on Sunday afternoons." George Blanda who played until he was 46 |

I don't get why the Panthers gave a gazillion dollars to Stewart/Williams/Tolbert and they only average 16 carries a game between the three of them. |

This should and needs to be a blow out win for our offence.
We have 2 weeks to build some momentum with on offence before we hit the meat of our schedule with Houston, San Fran and Green Bay.
I would like to see a 35 point performance in both of the next 2 weeks. _________________ John Fox

Neither does their owner, hence their GM getting fired this week. _________________ 👮

Yeah, it was a real downer. Her cookies weren't elite, but they were solid. She did some good things. She picked a bad day to have a bad day. It is what it is. _________________

It's not an easy life for grandmas in today's NFL. Fortunately you get two of them. _________________ 👮

The Panthers coaching staff is apparently idiotic. Scam Newton is awful, and they have two great running backs that they paid a ton of money to, yet they don't even give them carries. It is truly perplexing. _________________ Here's to hoping Emery is NOTHING like Angelo. |

I'm not saying carolina is going to be an easy win or anything like that but...
I wouldn't be opposed of resting jay cutler in this one. it's a shortened week as it is and he's nursing some hurt ribs. granted he's the toughest quarterback in the league (and I'd like to see anyone argue that) but in a game like this I wouldn't mind seeing number 2 taking snaps instead of number 6 _________________ ADOPT A BEAR= SHEA McCLELLIN
