W8 GDT: Atlanta Falcons(6-0) vs. Philadelphia Eagles (3-3)

Ecstatic we are 7-0. Proving all the haters wrong every week. However, we are way to complacent on offense when we have a significant lead. It's like the offense doesn't care and is just waiting for the game to end. This is how teams have come back on us, making what should have been blowouts nail biters. I don't even care if we are running up the score, let's just demolish someone this season. The Eagles had many chances to make it a one possession game, it was mostly their fault for not executing plays. We are playing with fire, we need to learn to put the game out of reach when the opportunity presents itself.

Another problem is our offense in the redzone. Why have we always sucked in that situation? I hope we can emphasize that part of the gameplan going forward.

At the end of the game where Trent Cole got in Tony's face gives me more reason to hate the Eagles and how i'm glad we whooped their asses. Is this how Andy Reid coaches his players? Pathetic.

So pumped we proved the pundits wrong and rolled our way into an indisputable #1 at 7-0.

One question, how do you get in a fight with Tony G? He's like the classiest man in the NFL seriously what kindof thuggish nonsense do you have to pull to push him over the edge?

I didn't notice Konz was starting until he completely wiffed on a block early on. I started watching him a bit more after that and was pleasantly surprised. On almost every run play he was getting a good push on his guy. Maybe it was the matchup with Cullen Jenkins but Konz looked pretty good.

Hope that's a good sign for the future. He's still got work to do though. That one wiff early on led to a tackle for loss. There was another time where he knocked Jenkins back and had him under control but then tried to help out McClure and let Jenkins go. Jenkins then got behind the line for another backfield tackle.
