I'm worried he may not even be 6'1.
And this hasn't been particuliarly a strong season for him. Can't really reason even a second day pick at this point. _________________ PSN: Suavesky

| Hope he drops to third round and the Saints could take a shot on him! |

I compare it to Andy Dalton.
I see career backup when I look at Murray. Maybe a solid backup but nonetheless not a starter. _________________

As a UGA fan, this is pretty much what I see. More than pure arm strength, what he really lacks is the ability to spin like a good NFL QB. I could see him developing into a good backup or a decent stop-gap starter, but I can't see any team ever being satisfied with him as their long-term answer at the position. |

| I would expect him taken somewhere between the mid 2nd and early 3rd. Could develop into a pretty good starter, probably never top ten though |

Wouldn't mind the Jags drafting him if we don't get a shot at Geno. _________________

| I see a 3rd round guy who will be a spot starter and good backup who will be in the league for 10-12 years |

2nd to 3rd round pick for him, I would pick him in the 2nd though and run with it if I wanted to groom somebody, has the potential to be a solid NFL QB. _________________

LeMay is the guy you need to ask about. I saw him and Williams(UNC QB) having big games week in and week out. Players like that are the reason I see bright things in UNCC's future. _________________ PSN: Suavesky

our man Murray looked worse than terrible against the Gators this weekend.. all of the INTs he threw, expect for maybe 1 of them, were completely Murrays fault. A few of those he threw were literally the worst decisions he could have made.. the throws he made were literally thrown closer to the Florida DBs than our own WRs. I mean hell, our best WR Tavarres King and arguably the best skill position player we have, hadn't even been able to catch a single ball.. TK ended with 0 catches on the day. Murray simply couldn't even find him. Coming into the season, with all the hype of being ranked so high, as well as even had guys like Mortenson raving about him and how great he looked in the offseason camps and whatnot, I know that I certainly expected more from Murray this season. As a Red-Shirt JR, I definitely see him coming back next year for his SR year.. when coming into the season with all the hpye that was surrounding him locally, I would have expected him to have a big time year then end up declaring for the draft. I mean, he still can go into the draft this year.. but I don't see a team taking anything but a late round flier on him.. _________________

I don't know what to make of Murray. Very inconsistent, short, doesn't spin the ball well and has erratic decision making. But he also has a good arm, good athleticism and flashes all the throwing ability. Just has no consistency and has struggled on the road against strong competition. Could be a good developmental guy but definitely not a Round 1 guy imo. _________________

One positive thing i think you do have to take away from that Florida game, is that he did show up late when the game was on the line. He had a pretty abysmal game, as you say...but when the chips were down, he shook it off and did come through. |
