He was bringing the heat and should start over terrible non covering or tackling safety Michael Devin Griffin.
Anybody have video Afalava laying the wood? |

Yep lets start someone just because he layed 2 big hits. Yes, Griffin is terrible but Afalava is most likely even worse.
Oh yea, your AVY is way too big. _________________

He had a couple big hits and one he didn't even make the tackle on....lets not overreact.
We don't know how good he is in coverage.....He could be worst than Griff. Maybe he is....that's why he hasn't played.... _________________ "I'm not locked in here with you. You locked in here with ME!" |

Sure I think two tackles makes him good enough to be a starter, for our D at least... _________________ Adopt-A-Titan:, Kenny Britt & Coty Sensabaugh |

I like the intensity and hunger Afalava brings to the field. I believe we need a lot more of that, but I'm not really sold on him being a starter. I don't mind him laying the wood, but I'd rather see him (along with the rest of our defense) convert to solid impact tackles that stops runners in their tracks, rather than just go for the big hits.
I'm looking at Markelle Martin as our possible savior. When does he come off the PUP list? _________________ Wedding Vow: I promise I will love you until the day you really p-ss me off. |

Last I heard they were evaluating Martin as he practices with the team. I think they have to make a decision by next week whether to bring him onto the 53 man or not. Don't hold me to that, but I think that's the 411. _________________

| It's really really pathetic that this guy gets paid like $8 dollars and he has two really hard hits in a single game and I can't even remember Griffin having one that hard in the past 3 years. |
