Had to record the game and watch it after watching my Giants win Game 2 of the world series ....

A few things to point out from me:

-I have a new disrespect for the Vikings fans. Never in my life have I seen such a whiney, obnoxious crowd. Booing after every bad series on offense by the Vikings, is just plain pathetic

-Definitely an impressive win

-I like Leonard Johnson he looked good, but didn't even know he was on the team

-Meredith is horrid but I don't know if we have a better option right now

-Doug Martin = beast, and makes this offense go

-Josh Freeman, looks much improved, as well as the play calling

-Looks like they learned from last game not to put Blount in for those goal line plays, and it worked out

Wow guys, huge win on National TV. Even though I do think the Vikings beat themselves more than we beat them, we came to play. Some thoughts of mine:

Good:
+ Doug Martin.
+ The playcalling for the most part was much improved.
+ The defense finally got pressure again.
+ Mike Williams is really underrated.
+ Freeman looked like 2010 Freeman for sure. I'm starting to think 2012 Freeman might be a new moniker with all these TD passes.
+ Ronde Barber.
+ Doug Martin
+ Outside of the TD run to Peterson, I felt like we contained their 2 star players.
+ The gameplan in general was great. I think we thoroughly outcoached the Vikings.
+ This is what this team was supposed to look like from the start. I think we finally got there.

Bad:
- Doug Martin had 2 easy passes dropped
- Freeman still needs to be more consistent. He had a few too many errant throws and throws at people's feet.
- Wth was Penn doing to Jared Allen? IMO that went way too far.
- Even after they were clearly keyed in on Doug Martin we still were calling run plays to him. We need to adapt faster than that.

Penn owned Allen the entire game. That scuffle between them fired Allen up to make what 1 play then that was it.

Leonard Johnson was phenomenal.

As far as i knw Bennett is fine. He gave my buddy a high five after the game. And he said he didnt look injured at all.

and btw, Ronde Barber is the ageless wonder. I don't think he's even lost a step.

That might be because he's a safety now, but the dude can still play. He's the heart and soul of that defense.
