What would you gives give for him? Do you want him?
This was my post in that thread...

Ben Watson is one hit from retirement. Alex Smith is LOL. Cameron is coming along nicely, but he's not an all around TE, he's more of a down the field weapon.
So we have no depth and our only real weapon is a 2nd year guy who is a converted BBall player.
Make the trade |

| Might not have the ammo. Seems like the most we could offer was a 3rd round pick. |

In these situations, I think the trade demand puts the Titans at a huge disadvantage leverage wise. With this coming out a day before the deadline, they know if they can't move him now, they will lose him for nothing at seasons end.
I think he is easily a top 10 TE in the nfl right now.
I'd be very ok with sending a 4th or 5th this year and a conditional 7th round pick next year that could move up to a 3rd or 4th based on stats or a pro bowl birth. _________________

Love his skillset. I disagree with you a bit on the "all around TE" part, as Cook is pretty underwhelming as a blocker.
If we determine that this guy isn't a head case, I'd love to get someone like him. One other negative, though, is that he's about to become a free agent, so not only would we have to cough up a draft pick, but we'd also have to shell out the dough for a big contract. At this point, Cook is all potential, so to give a pick and big money might be a bit much. _________________ Cleveland Browns: We put the fun in dysfunction.

if he walks we can always get a comp pick for him so we would be totally screwed.
I could see him maybe wanting to play in Cleveland. They need a TE so he will be wanted. This offense would thrive if they had a play making TE and he could fit that role, and Josh Grordan would really open the middle of the field for him. I think Cleveland could be a good place for him |

In all fairness, between Hasselback and Locker, he hasn't been in a great spot.
I think he's damn good though. _________________

| Trade deadline now moved to Thursday because of Hurricane Sandy. Just heard that from SC. |

| Would you consider dealing Cameron in the deal? I think they are the same type of player anyways. More receiving than blocking. |
