I'm normally not this way, but any answer other than Chicago is wrong. #1 scoring defense, #1 in sacks/game, #1 in turnovers, #1 run D, #2 in 3rd down %.

I'm normally a homer and pick my own team when I have the chance, but any answer other than Chicago is wrong. For the reasons he said.

Bears. I trust that defense more than any other to shut down an elite QB. 9ers are a close second...

Bears defense is scary good, luckily we've had success against it in Green Bay due to our familiarity to how they game plan for us. I'd hate to be an out of division team game planning for that D this year.

As a Packer fan I'm not too scared of the Bears, but outside of our game, they are no doubt tops right now

The Bears D is BEASTLY, no doubt. But looking at the schedule of their first 6 games they've played: Indy, St Louis, Dallas, Jacksonville and Detroit, which all seem to have sputtering offenses thus far.
That is no knock though. They held the Packers to ~300 yards of total offense and have seemed to even get better since.

As a team, or as a defense? Because the Pack only scored one offensive TD against our defense when they played iirc.
