Definitely the plan and it's a good one. Ayers is just too fast off the ball for the LT to get a hand on him. I would like to see him AND Brown blitz more. With Brown's speed he should be able to get a couple sacks off the blitz. |
Good thing it only took Jerry Gray 8 weeks to figure that one out _________________

I'm all about piling on Jerry Gray, but there's a chance it took this long for Brown to be good enough to leave on the field when it's time for the nickel. There was no chance of this happening last year, even though the coaches indicated it's what they wanted. |

We had 10 guys on the field for TWO plays during the Colts game-tying drive, including 4th and 1. WTH Gray?! _________________

I've read this, but I've only seen one grainy still shot of the goal line play as evidence. To me, in that picture there's a helmet and an arm visible in the center of the DL that would make it 11 players. But the photo is so grainy it's difficult to tell. Is there a good source for the 10 player claim? |

I don't know of any visual evidence without re-watching the game, but ff Munch acknowledged it I'm guessing it actually happened. _________________

This is just terrible coaching. Plan and simple.
And don't get me started on the 10 men on the field plays. |

couple random things
-They converted way too many 3rd and longs
-McCarthy, and I know he still isnt 100%, is absolutely terrible in coverage
-Mouton is not NFL caliber _________________

The D hasn't been horrendous today, the score has been 95% on the O and SPT _________________

The D finally looks good for the most part today... yet the offense and STs not only can't join in... but makes the the D look horrible to any fan who didn't watch the game.
- Yeah.. the D still gave up 4 offensive TDs... not noting that 3 of them started inside the Titans 20 (1 inside the 10, the other inside the 5)...
- All in all, the Bears started 6 drives in TN territory. _________________

Brown had to learn the position. _________________
