San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals
VS

Another big division game for the 49ers, as they travel to Grendal, AZ to face the Arizona Cardinals. Many question marks about Alex Smith and our passing offense going into this game that must be answered. Otherwise, Harbaugh will have some thinking to do during the bye.
Game Plan:
Cover Fitz: It's no secret that Skelton loves forcing the football to Fitz, and he has a history of burning us. We absolutely need to take him out of the equation.
Dumb down the offense: If we want Alex to succeed we need to keep the numbed down version of this offense for him. It worked in 2011, and we should stick to it, because obviously Alex is having major issue with a more complex one.
Spread the ball on the ground: Working the ground game has worked, and we need to stick with it. Of course we shouldn't over-work Gore, so we need to think of creative ways to establish a good ground game.
Pressure Skelton: Our defense did really well pressuring Wilson last week, so we need to keep that going. Our pass rush was a big issue going into last week, and it was answered. We need to build on that. _________________

They have no running game and Skelton at QB- If Cully can hold Fitz to only a few grabs this should be an easy win for us. _________________

Cully only lines up on one side so Brown will see a lot of Fitz himself. Both CBs have to bring their "A" game as well as Rogers. They have no run game and it is important to put them in a deficit early on. Amazing how this team has been able to win four games with possibly the worse OL in the game. Aldon Smith can be in for a BIG game. _________________

This will be my first live NFL game. I was planning on taking my aunt to this game. She used to have Niners season tickets and was there when Joe Montana stepped on the field for the first time. She liked to tell the story a lot, about how she remembered thinking, "who the heck is this guy?"
Unfortunately, she passed away a few months ago. She put up a good fight against cancer, but ultimately, it wasn't enough.
So, I'm going anyway, with my girlfriend, mother, and my cousin. Really hoping for a win.
Despite last year's equipment malfunction that probably sealed the win for the Cardinals, we've had a lot of success against them for many seasons. Hopefully, this will continue, especially with the Cards' injuries, lack of running game, and the worst O-line I've seen in many years. Can't discount Washington, Campbell, Fitzgerald, and Peterson, though. These guys are the real deal and will make us pay if you make any mistakes.
Should be a good game, but I'll miss reading this thread while the game is going. Someone always points out something I missed. _________________

I see us winning 20-3 or something like that.
Alex will have 10 days to get mentally ready for this game.
I hope we get VD back into the passing game. it stinks to see that coming out of Stanford, Jim and his system was so TE friendly but so far it has been kinda inconsistent with us.
RUN RUN RUN WITH GORE. END OF STORY. _________________

Can we get that Calais Campbell guy to miss the game somehow? That guy is so damn annoying... He's always tipping passes or blocking kicks or doing something to prevent us from our inevitable victories. _________________

What if we win by multiple scores? | hopefully if that happens it means Alex acted like a QB on Monday night. _________________

Just play all 5 RBs. I want to see a heavy dose of Jacobs. Let that behemoth take a beating and give one out so we can give our more dynamic backs an easier time. _________________

I disagree.
Seahawks have a better defense.
There passing game.... Arizona slightly.
Running game... Seahawks by a mile.
I don't think Arizona is a good team. I think they lose to the Vikings this weekend, and that's 4 wins then 3 straight losses _________________ ***WE RUN THE WEST!***

I don't think the Cards are either but they have a good defense. I can see them giving Alex fits. _________________

We have over a week to work on our passing game until the Cardinals game, but definitely stick to dink and dunk, win the game, then go into the bye working on the passing game more. We shouldn't try anything new in the Cardinal's game. _________________
