I agree, Damontre Moore is the guy you want and right now i see us finishing 8-8, 9-7 so he would fall right in our lap their in the first round. _________________

After this weekend, Damontre Moore is my #2 guy, obviously Jones being #1. _________________

Don't like it. I'd like to keep Maybin. He's cheap, great guy in the locker room. Can't trust Jennings. Such a gamble. WR corp gets worse. Don't know exactly what you're trying to do here but regress the offense. The defense is better, but not significantly. _________________

Maybin doesn't bring much to the table.
Greene doesn't do crap yet, at least Jennings can catch and has upside.
Tone is a cancer and Mark is better off without him but that's my opinion.
I know exactly what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to give the Jets a real running game and improve the offensive line. Line gets better adding Caldwell and Fluker. Run game gets so much better with Fluker, Jennings, Randle. Sanchez has two new check downs since he does that A LOT. And Randle adds speed to RB and big play ability. Swope gives us a guy like Cotchery. Next year Hill becomes the #1 and takes over for Tone. Better size, speed, attitude, same hands.
By revamping the OLBs the defense gets much better. A true pass rusher plus a younger, cheaper Pace. _________________

For those who don't like the FB pick, Hilliard has been a surprise for us and we can grab WR, OLB, S, RB, QB, you name it.
After Miami is the bye week, always gotta do a BYE mock. Let's see what changes. _________________

Going to see what the updates are after tomorrow's game. Let's see what we fixed during the BYE.
First 4 games run defense was something like 170 per game with 7 TDs.
Last 4 games run defense was something like 110 per game with 2 TDs.
Ricky Sapp could have an influence, hopefully Dowtin and Davis keep getting time. Don't see too much changing, might have to switch draft guys if stocks are up and down. _________________

IDC if will get our t*ts lit tomorrow. I want my boy Ricky Sapp to give us some faith at OLB. Same goes for Dowtin and Davis at ILB. Obviously I'd love to go into SEA and get a win, I just dont see it. Let the kiddies play. I wish we had like a 6'6 240 QB who had upside and was waiting to get his chance. Instead we got Tebow, who doesn't really know how to throw the football correctly. _________________

Jets FA to be

Chaz Schilens
Matt Slauson
Bryan Thomas
Patrick Turner

John Conner
Joe McKnight

Eric Smith
Santonio Holmes
Clyde Gates
Tim Tebow
Free Agents
Rashad Jennings
Anthony Spencer
Antoine Caldwell
Lawrence Jackson
Marcus Dixon
Draft
Round 1- Damontre Moore OLB, Texas A&M
-We have to get pressure from 1 on 1 matchups and on the outside. Moore is unblockable at times and even rushes from DT in 4-3 sets. Good fit for Rex if he wants to keep drafting versatile guys and more importantly he's probably the #2 pass rusher behind Jones. Instant boost to the defense.
Round 2- Tyler Bray QB, Tennessee
-Tall, big arm. I think his "issues" are a little overplayed he puts up big games and plays in the SEC so I like his experience. I see people compare him to a guy like Cutler with big arm and attitude but I think he can be better.
Round 3- Da'Rick Rogers WR, Tennessee Tech
-Big risk with off the field issues but undeniable talent that the Jets lack and he has a history with Bray. Makes things a lot easier for both players. Him and Hill could be awesome together.
Round 4- Gabe Jackson OG, Mississippi State
-OG might be one of the biggest needs on the team. Slauson splits with Vlad we really need an overhaul here and need some run blocking.
Round 5- Kenjon Barner RB, Oregon
-Finally a speed back to add a big play dimension. Can catch balls too. Could be a huge piece to the offense like Leon Washington was.
Round 6- Michael Williams TE, Alabama
-It's almost like having a 6th OL with Williams out there. He's also a huge target and if Cumberland doesn't work out I really like him as a #2 option. Even if he doesn't contribute in the pass game he can really block.
Round 7- Braden Wilson FB, Kansas State
-Need to find a lead blocker.
Depth Chart
QB- Tyler Bray, Mark Sanchez, Greg McElroy
RB- Rashad Jennings, Bilal Powell, Kenjon Barner
FB- Lex Hilliard, Braden Wilson
WR- Stephen Hill, Jeremy Kerley
TE- Dustin Keller, Jeff Cumberland, Michael Williams
LT- D'Brickashaw Ferguson
LG- Antoine Caldwell, Vlad Ducasse
C- Nick Mangold, Caleb Schlauderaff
RG- Matt Slauson/Gabe Jackson
RT- Austin Howard
WR-Da'Rick Rogers, Jordan White
DE- Quinton Coples, Mike DeVito
NT- Sione Pouha, Kenrick Ellis, Damon Harrison
DE- Mohammed Wilkerson, Marcus Dixon
OLB- Damontre Moore, Garrett McIntyre, Ricky Sapp
ILB- David Harris, Nick Bellore
ILB- DeMario Davis, Josh Mauga, Marcus Dowtin
OLB- Anthony Spencer, Lawrence Jackson
CB- Darrelle Revis, Ellis Lankster, Isiah Trufant
S- LaRon Landry, Antonio Allen
S- Yeremiah Bell, Josh Bush
CB- Antonio Cromartie, Kyle Wilson
LS- Tanner Purdum
K- Nick Folk
P- Robert Malone
KR- Barner
If you guys think some picks are unrealistic I can change some. But looking at other posters' mocks and draft sites I don't think anyone is too unreasonable.
Can't cut Sanchez with that contract, just let him help Bray and insurance for rookie woes. _________________

I think his contract will prevent that.
Rookie QB, WR, RB, TE, FB and OG def improves the offense. _________________

I actually like this mock of yours, just wish you didn't cut McKnight, I think he's a good KR and it's starting to show with Gates in. I also wish you would cut Lex Hilliard, PFF has him ranked the worst FB in the NFL and it shows every sunday. _________________

Any vets out there? I guess Josh Baker when he comes back but he doesn't strike me as a lead blocker. _________________

We could save a roster spot and just use a TE at that position if needed. I love the draft though. Moore is my man crush, although he's better with his hand in the dirt. Bray is my favorite QB outside of Geno. Justin Hunter scares me because he's a dickhead, but aside from that, the dude straight up balls. _________________
