If Geno falls to us we should take him. Hes going to be a legit franchise QB and a stud. Take him and hopefully our defense leads us to the #1 pick in 2014(Jadeveon Clowney) _________________

Because Geno Smith is going to sure up our run defense, secondary, and pass rush. _________________

Former LSU CB Tyrann Mathieu is declaring for the draft. How far would he have to drop for you to want him? Or who says we stay away from him entirely. _________________ Bah-Weep-Granah-Weep-Nini-Bong

If he stayed in school he may have improved his coverage and proven worth more, but as it stands he looks like a 4th-udfa. |

He's a short CB who's place will be at the nickel. I'd take him no earlier than the 4th maybe. _________________

| Another primadonna with off field issues, who isn't really that great a pro prospect? Will love seeing McKenzie stay far away. New team motto is "no mo' tards". |

From what McShay and Kiper were saying, he hadn't cracked their top 25 even when he was at LSU. They thought he was a 2nd or 3rd round pick then. Makes me think he'll realistically fall to the 5th or farther. I don't think I'd mind if we grabbed him then. But as Holyghost said, I think we stay away from him looking at how we drafted last year. _________________ Bah-Weep-Granah-Weep-Nini-Bong

I wouldn't mind taking a 7th round on him but that's about it. He made plays but dude is pretty tiny. Wasn't he only like 5'7" or something? _________________

Taking fliers on guys like this is a huge problem for our team. Oakland was the asylum run by the inmate and is just beginning to change. Adding dudes like this is far more expensive for us than other teams. No, hell no, no way in hell, and GOD NO. Man if I never heard about some random draft loser with 1st round talent but an Arena League brain again it wouldn't be too soon.
Legs, hops, speed, and arms are only the physical part of what it takes to win in football. Brains, team, and heart are the other parts. Clowns like this breed the antithesis of what we need here.
If they extended the draft to 80 rounds I'd take Betty White in the 79th round before him. |

Short corners can still be very good players, especially when they have the toughness that Mathieu has. He's very physical despite his lack of height. He was an animal on corner blitzes at LSU. I'd roll the dice on him in the third. _________________

Even w/ him being out of football for over a year and his off-field issues? _________________
