Just out of interest, I read a piece by Pat Kirwan recently written about his time as a Jets scout. He stated that to try and judge acurately the speed on field in uniform of an NFL player they would take the 40 time and compare with the short shuttle sprint times of college players, basically if the shuttle was a lot faster than the sprint the guy would most probably have 'football speed' and if the 40 time was little different from the shuttle time the guy would most probably have 'track speed'.
Can't find the link for it but basically, don't judge a players speed and athletic prowess off purely a 40 time |

Bush had a multi-year deal and Campbell just a 1-year deal. Bush would net us a pick, unfortunately, we signed Mike Breisel to a more expensive deal so that should cancel that out. I'm pretty sure we won't land a pick for losing Campbell either since we signed multiple players to 1-year deals as well. |
You are right!

You realize that .03 in the quarter mile is not even half a step? It's almost negligible. _________________ Bah-Weep-Granah-Weep-Nini-Bong

Yeah. NB, you need to re-calibrate your sarcasm detector. And I'd put down money on Willis still being faster and more athletic than Manti Te'o. Regardless, it'd be absolutely retarded for us to pick Te'o barring a trade down to around pick 20 at the soonest. _________________

| No 2nd round pick, and no 5th round pick with only 5 picks it'll be another rough draft. |

Is it confirmed that the Raiders lost a 5th for Curry? _________________ 2013 Mancrush: DT Richardson, OT Joeckel, FS Vaccaro, FS Rambo, WR Dobson, RB Michael, TE McDonald, OT Foketi, WR Swope |

I think they will. Reggie will trade back in the 1st to get a 2nd rounder. Too many needs with so little picks. _________________

No word as of yet. I believe that the deal for Curry was a 2012 7th round pick, and a conditional 5th/6th round pick in 2013. Not sure what the condition is, but I'm sure he won't reach whatever he needs to do since he had a late start to the season. I'll try looking for the link. _________________

I think it's pretty safe to assume the Raiders will have their 2013 5th, although it is noteworthy as NB pointed out earlier this year. _________________ 2013 Mancrush: DT Richardson, OT Joeckel, FS Vaccaro, FS Rambo, WR Dobson, RB Michael, TE McDonald, OT Foketi, WR Swope |

I'm guessing they will have 10 picks when the draft is said and done. _________________
