Williams is in Arizona right now visiting the team.

If Bears fans though their line was bad, get a load of ours. If Williams came to Arizona and played like the 2nd worst player in the entire National Football League at LT AND RG...metrically, he'd be an upgrade in the desert.

I'd be surprised if Detroit don't bring him in for a visit. Do I want them to? Hell no. That turd is awful. But it's a Mayhew move to sign a former first round pick that didn't work out. Add the fact that we are playing the Bears Monday, I can see using him as Intel.

The Chargers are hosting free agent G/T Chris Williams on Friday.
Williams is shopping his wares effectively after Tuesday's release from the Bears, having already visited the Cardinals and Eagles. He figures to latch on with the highest one-year bidder. Williams would be smart to pick a team willing to let him play left guard, where he has played his best ball.

Looks like the 3 most Tackle desperate teams have taken a shot. Wonder if there's anybody else on the tour?
