That was very cheap by Brown, I remember that hit. Sucks to lose two ILBs on the year. _________________

So the Texans lose one of their own to a cheap play, and decide to go out and do the same to others?
Hope this guy can fully recover and be ready to roll next season. _________________

Feel horrible for the guy. But this injury really doesn't effect the Packers - DJ was always a step behind. He was one of the reasons why the Colts beat us(and the run D has been somewhat suspect). Not to mention his limitations in coverage. _________________ @PJHotel_ |

Yep, but at least there's plenty more where that came from. Brad Jones who has been working inside this season after playing OLB for much of his career probably gets the job to start with. Jamari Lattimore, Robert Francois and Terrell Manning are also healthy and on the roster. |

Honestly wont be missed to much. He was a tackle machine but is a step slow and his coverage was suspect. Won't be much of a downgrade, if any to be honest, going from him to Brad Jones. Jones is a MUCH better athlete and seems to have transitioned well to ILB. _________________

If Jones can play up to his athleticism, this could be a blessing in disguise for our defense. Might very well be better come playoff time with Jones having 10 games under his belt than had Smith stayed. |

Heard people say that the Texans have plays like this all the time which is why no one was fined when Cushing got hurt. It really sucks that Goddell has a sliding scale for these kinds of plays. _________________

It sucks because he took over for Bishop, and he was lost in the first game of preseason. It sucks for Smith, but it wont be a huge loss to our D. Guys like Jones and Francois will have to step up, I think it will be Jones. _________________
