This is my own deduction. He played like absolute trash the 1st series and was not in the rest of the game. He got absolutely blown up on several plays in one series and they finally put Greco in for him. Anyone saying he's not as bad some are making him out to be are clueless.
Young and Pinkston are the two worst players on each side of the ball.
Lavauo on the other hand is improving little by little. _________________ 2013 Browns Forum HOF |

You know he was sick right?
Quote: | (Jason) Pinkston, woke up this morning and he wasn’t feeling great. He was in and out of the lineup, and he battled through it. For the most part, that’s what we have injury wise. |

His play wasn't any different than usual.
He's the worst individual on our offense. _________________ 2013 Browns Forum HOF |

Oh man... Totally forgot about him. I try to block him out of my memory. Pinkston is a close 2nd. _________________ 2013 Browns Forum HOF |

He's easy to forget. Until Weeden throws the ball to him.
Pinkston has been a major source of suckage, though. LG should be a focus in FA. |

I'll have to go back and watch both of the guards. I have been right in the middle of both of them. Pinkston has done a fine job pass blocking. He's better in the run game this year, but fails to pick up a guy sometimes completely. Lauvao is a good run blocker, but sucks at getting to the second level. Gets turned around in Pass Pro as well. On the ground too much as well.
Either way, neither have improved like I would have hoped. _________________ 2013 First Ballot Recipient of the Joe Blackburn Award |

You can if you want but I've specifically watched both of them in the 3 times I've watched each browns game this year lol. Pinkston is consistently terrible. Lavauo started off the year below avg but has improved a bit in every game. He seems to be talking to Mack a lot because he is modeling his play after him in the way he is attempting to play in the run game. If he gets near Mack's level we could have an amazing OL. _________________ 2013 Browns Forum HOF |

I thought Owen made some good plays yesterday, specially when MoHard was running. The play when MoHard took it to the 1yard line, Owen made a great block on the ILB that was able to spring MoHard out of the second level |

The whole off. line has played well the last two games. Pass blocking is better right now than run blocking. Run blocking is coming around bit by bit. I don't see off. line being that big of a need in the off season. I'd like to get a better backup over Cousins though. We have bigger needs elsewhere. _________________ browns and indian fan 7272

On the radio (stuck listening to 700 WLW and the cinci announcers while I was driving down there) they said that Pinkston was on the bench and being evaluated by the medical staff... |

Pinkston is not the worst player on offense; Owen Marecic is. I think he's dropped every pass thrown his way this year and he's bad at blocking.
I had hope that Pinkston would develop into a respectable starter because he had a decent rookie year considering he was a fifth-round pick. However, he's been pretty damn bad. I don't think he's any worse than Lauvao, though. The Browns need to bring in at least one new guard this season, if not two. Hopefully Greco gets more playing time and proves to be capable of starting. _________________ Cleveland Browns Forum Hall of Fame Inductee |

Greco look like he belonged were it seems like Pinkston looks like he is lost most of the time.

It just shows what our line would look like wither em with a consistently average LG. Greco is average but he completes his assignments. _________________ 2013 Browns Forum HOF |
