What's with the Steelers fan mod thinking a potential career-ending injury to the GOAT ILB isn't worth it's own thread? Evil or Very Mad

This thread was originally about Webb not Lewis. I don't even think the OP knew Lewis was hurt. But like I said, I was just venting, not seriously complaining.

Sorry, even in spite of all the injuries, the Ravens won't be picking that high.

So, in lieu of all these injuries, who goes where in the Ravens lineup?

Jimmy Smith and Cary Williams starting at corner.

Probably Ellerbe starting alongside McClain at ILB, with McClellan getting some snaps there too.

If Ngata doesn't play, then I guess Art Jones and Pernell McPhee both start in the defensive line. Which would not be good.

At least we still have Ed Reed and Bernard Pollard....

Sorry, the Steelers are way ahead of the Ravens on that one.

DT Haloti Ngata
NT Terrence Cody
DE Pernell McPhee
Rush Terrell Suggs Paul Kruger
Will Jameel McClain
Mike Dannell Ellerbe Albert McClellan
Sam Courtney Upshaw Sergio Kindle
LCB Jimmy Smith Chykie Brown (Dime)
SS Bernard Pollard
FS Ed Reed
RCB Cary Williams Cory Graham (Nickel)

Pray

But realistically:

DT Haloti Ngata
NT Ma'ake Kemoeatu- Despite his awful play our coaches continue to start him over Cody, who's been much more impressive.
DE Pernell McPhee
Rush Courtney Upshaw Paul Kruger
Will Jameel McClain
Mike Dannell Ellerbe
Sam Albert McClellan Sergio Kindle
LCB Jimmy Smith Chykie Brown (Dime)
SS Bernard Pollard
FS Ed Reed
RCB Cary Williams Cory Graham (Nickel)

How has Jimmy Smith looked this season so far? I've heard good things heading into the year and from what I can tell - dude has potential, but I haven't heard much about him through the first 6 weeks.

He's good enough to start and not hold us back. It's the 3rd corner that's going to be the real question mark.

After thinking about this more, i was ready for the Ray Lewis era to be over (what Bengals fan wouldn't be?), but this is not the way i wanted it to end.

I hope he gives next season a go.

Huge loss for the Ravens. This blow is equivalent to that of Manning's injury in terms impact and the nostalgic structure of the NFL to me. In my opinion, this is a chance for John Harbaugh to show how good of a coach he can be. Because I always thought he was overrated for inheriting a great team.

I'm not ready to live in a world where Ray Lewis isn't part of my Sunday routine.
