Why are you guys assuming Talib is telling the truth? Players can make up whatever they want since the NFL will never tell us what substance he really took.

It just seems like EVERY player that gets suspended for failing these tests blames adderall. That excuse is getting old. Players should know by now that you need league approval for that stuff. Not saying he's lying, but its getting harder to believe the adderall excuse.

The Bucs need to get rid of this guy. He's been nothing but trouble since he was drafted. All the talent in the world but he is nothing but a problem for Tampa Bay. He's not worth the headache that he has cause them. It's become the norm with him and his off the field trangressions.

This is the last year on his contract, right?

Dumb.

Bucs need to let this guy go, he needs to grow up. Playing in the NFL is a privilege.

Isn't he a FA this year??? I wonder how this effects the contract situation with the Bucs or any other team. I highly doubt the Bucs bring him back.

I think this solidifies us taking a CB in round 1. Wouldn't be surprised if we took more than 1.

I really don't see us bringing him back after everything he's done.

It's a shame because he has plenty of physical talent. I loved watching him and Nicks battle it out earlier this year. Nicks got the better of him , but I felt Talib became a better player with competition.

Yep. Its getting pretty obvious at this point that all these "adderall" suspensions aren't for adderall.

I'd guess he was masking steroid use, but nothing about his career suggests he'd care enough to make the effort.

I don't know anything about it masking steroid usage, but the players say it helps them conserve energy and gives them laser like focus as reported by Chris Mortenson. Which makes total sense if you know anything about Adderall.

I've used adderall as a study aid enough to know that it improves focus. However, knowingly taking a banned substance is a matter of risk and reward. Increased explosiveness seems far more worth the risk to me.

I disagree, focus is much more important than explosiveness in pro sports. Everybody's fast, the difference between the all pros and the run of the mill starters is usually how they hone their craft. Their focus.
