|
|
|
I've noticed that I will frequently have an NFL related question that I don't feel is really worthy for an entirely new thread. So I'm making this thread which can serve as an NFL General WAYTA (minus the tomfoolery). Hopefully people won't shy away from asking questions as well as answering any they can. Basically nothing is "off topic" in this thread just as long as it's football related. Questions regarding the game of football itself are also welcomed. Another benefit of this thread would be that it could drastically cut the amount of threads that don't even reach 2 pages. Those types of threads are usually questions with actual answers, in which not much discussion will follow which makes it seem like a waste of a thread. _________________

Is it true that Dan Marino was the same height and weight as Tom Brady is now? _________________ Dallas Cowboys fan. |

Yeah. It is a good idea.

I'll defer to Webby for his take. On one hand, it's kind of redundant, as you CAN create a thread. On the other hand, it would streamline some things...
I don't know, I'll let him sound off. _________________

RMIB already posted in the Feedback Forum about this. MrDrew was very vague in his answer, but it sounded like he might not have minded it.
Also, doesn't this thread defeat the purpose of x0x? _________________

Suggesting that Brady's height has fluctuated during his career. _________________ Kickers are people too |

Is there any team thats as good as Houston with the play action right now? That team has figured out offensive tempo. Also does anyone else rotate OL like them? Watch thay OC end up in Cleveland this off-season. _________________

I am warming up to the idea of taking Chip Kelly off your Ducks. _________________

| Quote: | The emergence of the 49ers’ deep passing game should add a whole new headache for Giants’ defensive coordinator Perry Fewell this week. What’s more, he won’t be able to clearly identify what type of play to prepare for depending on formations, because the 49ers will run the ball out of the spread and pass it out of the jumbo all the same.
Roman’s offensive mastery isn’t just shown by how he uses Colin Kaepernick — it’s in his pre-snap sets, too. |

Greg Roman is probably going to be a HC sooner than later. Just too creative not to be. College or NFL, i think this is his last year as 49ers OC. He was a finalist for the Penn State job last year too. _________________ -Not taking this off until the 49ers win #6 |

Really like the Chiefs to get the upset and even contend for the division moving forward. Brady Quinn sucks but I think they are good enough to win by just not turning it over.
I think the Texans are going to steam roll the Packers. Their pass rush + Green Bay's lack of a run game could equal a very long night for the Pack. Game kinda reminds me of that Patriots @ Saints game in 2009 in that you have one of the best teams in the league in primetime hosting a team that isn't that great but is expected to play a good game based on name recognition. _________________

| This become an epic thread like wayta. I've also had many questions that were just not important enough to start a topic on and ergo never found out the answer (cause researching it would be too much work and work sucks). |
