Considering how well Donnie Avery has played thus far, along with Wayne and the rookies Hilton and Brazille. I think that Collie's career with the Colts is done.

As for the addition of Palmer, I'm a bit perplexed. I figured we were carrying 6 receivers because of Collie's concussion issue but with him gone I don't know why we need this unless the coaches are still afraid that Avery will get hurt.

Then again, maybe this is just a temporary signing due to the bye week and no greater risk of injury for over a week.

Def agree his colts career is over! Prob is to stubborn to retire. Denver prob gives him a chance next year!

Too bad for Collie. He'd actually probably be a good reciever but it's just he's always getting injured.

Sad to see such a tough guy get dealt such a crappy card. Hopefully he can recover from this and continue his career either with the Colts or somewhere else. When he was healthy he was arguably the best slot receiver in the game. Would be cool to see him go to Denver and try to rekindle that fire with Manning if he and the colts decide to move on.
