I don't like that he's citing "scheme change" either.

Injuries can't be avoided, but the terminology of a scheme? Put some extra work into it, stay after practice a bit with your offensive line and make sure you're on the same page.

My God you have all off-season to get comfortable in the "new scheme". Injuries are a legitimate excuse, confused by scheme change is not.

Imagine what the defense is going through with all the scheme/coordinator/coaching changes.

Bingo. If you look back at the quote I posted two pages back (which started this conversation), he does not mention injuries any where. He mentions scheme only. To me, that seems like he didn't put in the work. But again, that could just be me.

Michael Vick partly blamed his struggles over the past two seasons on the offensive line scheme change."Obviously, yeah. Just being honest and candid about the situation," Vick said Thursday. "Things changed dramatically. It is what it is."

The Eagles made the switch from Juan Castillo to Howard Mudd after the 2010 season. Vick said he "had to learn new protection schemes, verbiage. And we shuffled around a lot of players. So everybody had to start all over." We'd lean more toward injuries along the front taking their toll, along with Vick's poor ball security and pocket awareness as bigger factors for the demise.

And this is why we are 4-11. No one wants to take ownership of our crappy record except for our mustached Head Coach.

Enjoy the Raiders Vick

Accountability for our shortcomings; we rarely show it.

[Vick is] due $15.5 million in base salary next season and the team is unlikely to want to retain him at that figure
Quote:
Would Vick be willing to renegotiate his contract? He declined to speculate on such a premise earlier this week, but an NFL source familiar with the quarterback’s thinking said that Vick would not restructure his deal.

The Eagles have a decision to make on Vick by Feb. 6. If they release him before that date they will be off the hook for a guaranteed $3 million that kicks in three days after the Super Bowl.

Well hes in debt.. Why would he? He has big time money problems. He doesnt really have that much money of his contract and him and his family still only being allowed a small allowance while the rest goes to court bills and his bankruptcy case internal revenue services... He wants to pay off as much of his debt and try and come out alive with something to tuck away if he can.

The joke is that BBIB is Marcus Vick because he (removed/inappropriate) michael so badly.
